i think louis worked realy hard with JLS!
but ignored the girl groups ^.^
dannii worked hard with all her acts, and she was able to keep them all half way through the competition
(still ended up losing all of them in a row)
cheryl, i dont think she contributed much with helping her acts, i mean they were already brilliant anyway even if shes wasnt they're mentor! but i think she helped increase the ratings of the show! cuz shes famous :)
simon i dont think has been as good as he was the other years! if only eoghan wasnt a cute for the girlies, he would have been the first judge to have lost all acts.

erm id say cheryl, simon for once this year didnt seem intersted in is acts all that much, louis well dissowned the girlbands straight away and dannii well she did ok with ruth but never made the final

I would say its between Dannii and Cheryl
Simon really didn't seem to be interested in any of the boys doing well this year and the same with Louis and both girlbands
I think Dannii contributed more with her acts so yeah Dannii
Cheryl the only one who gave a damn about their act!

I think Cheryl, her song chooses were usally good and she got on well with her acts.
Louis was great with JLS, and Dannii was great with Ruth

I'd say Dannii & Cheryl.
Simon : I dont think hes really done better than the other years , he dont seem to be as interested in the boys.
Louis : He done well with JLS , but didn't even bother with BadLashes and Girlband
Dannii : I think shes done a good job , like her 25+ is one of the hardest categories and she kept them in for pretty long.
Cheryl : She had great acts , she got along with her acts.

Louis, he done the right thing and concentrated on what one of his groups had the most potential- and he got them to the final.

Cheryl did really well even though it was her first year on the X factor.

Dannii by far!
Cheryls song choices were diabolical.
Dannii, she let Rachel have free reign a couple of the weeks and if you think you're being failed, you can't get much fairer than that. She was great with Ruth as well, she took her from a wannabe belter (ie week one) to singing rock songs.
Cheryl ruined Diana and Laura. She also turned Alexandra into a Leona clone for the first few weeks when shes nothing like that.
Louis & Simon were just how they were every other year.

you all seem pretty right about all of them!
i agree with david, louis did choose the right decision with the most potential one. but still i thought it wasnt fair, cuz the girl groups didnt have at least a small chance to shine.
cheryl was friends with all her acts, and made quite a few good song choices, but i think it was bound to happen, cuz shes a girl too and young so she'l choose current music for them.
danni had the hardest acts to mentor, cuz the oldest ones are the least popular since a lot of young people watches the show, and would most likely favour the younger contestants. but she was still able to keep all three acts together longer than any judge. so i think she probably has been the best this year.
simon, well...he had eoghan.

Cheryl seemed to have a personal connection to her acts and also seemed to treat them as friends as well as acts. Some of her song choices were inspired and she managed to get Diana to the semis even though it was clear to many – to me anyway!!! - that Diana was a one trick pony. The two of them fooled you all.
Simon did what he needed to do but he seemed to rely heavily on Owen age and vulnerability.
Danni was pretty much clueless. She completely mismanaged Rachel but having said that I’m not sure if someone tougher would have got the best out of Rachel. Danni also relied on the fact that Daniel was a bit of a joke contestant and it was Ruth fighting spirit that kept her in so long. I dont think Danni can be congratulated for Ruth stay in the competition.
Louis is a prat. Nuff said.
Dannii because the Over 25s category is traditionally a difficult one to succeed in, and she was the last judge with 3 acts in the competition! Cheryl had a great category, I think she was a bit ambitious with it but she did well!

Rachel just wasn't manageable. Even SHE couldnt get her song choices right. Her songs were good, Rachel was just crap at them.
Daniel got great choices for a middle of the road contestant, and Ruths choices were outstanding from Week Four onwards.

I think Simon wouldn't have taken any cr*p off Rachel so maybe he'd have done a better job with her. In fact, I think it was a mistake to put Rachel into the final 12. I often wonder how it would have turned out if Rachel was voted off early on and one of Louis' girl groups had been given a chance in the show.
Daniel got great choices for a middle of the road contestant, and Ruths choices were outstanding from Week Four onwards. I think Ruths song choices didnt necessarily get better; Its more that she put a soft rock slant on every song she was given.

Dannii for sure. She puts a lot into her acts and its a shame she's constantly under attack by people on that show.

i'd say cheryl

I'd say week 3 onwards. Summertime was IMO the best performance of big band night, it just happened to be a song that Leona had done so it was going to be compared. I mean watch it as a standalone performance forgetting everything else, and its very good especially towards the end.

Dannii took care of all of her acts really well and gave them great songs that suited them. You can tell that she actually cared for all three of them.

Cheryl, she was close to all her acts and gave them quite a few good song choices but had bad luck with Laura going so early

I wouldn't say With Every Heartbeat was a great song choice, same goes for most of Rachel's other song choices by Dannii. She also had Daniel who was a complete flop and was rubbish every week.
Only act I thought Dannii did well with was Ruth.

if you think about it, if the over 25s were that bad, then they would defenatly have gone over the likes of austin/laura
but the votes obviously prefered the oldies!
and danni did seem to have worked realy hard, with all the pressure put on her shoulders, of the whole "cherly being the new girl" and she had to work with rachel (who didnt want her as a mentor)

Dirty Diana - Rachels choice
Feeling Good - Good choice
Lost in Music - Good choice (Rachel was crap)
Against all Odds - same as above
You Know I'm No Good - Good choice
Rule the World - Good choice
It wasn't Dannis fault about Rachel, and Daniels song choices were all great, Daniel just wasn't.

I didn't think Cheryl was very good - I think for instance, if Dannii had the girls, Diana, Laura & Alexandra could have been the final 3. Cheryl was ultimately responsible for early favourite Laura's unpredicted elimination, and Diana was a dead cert for the final initially...if Simon was their mentor, I'm convinced they would have been the final 3.
