Why do we do it?

We randomly stare at something for like 3 mins thinking about something. We dont move our eyes or anything either..... WHY!?

One of my previous biology teacher told us we do this because the brain is getting rid of all useless memories and stuff the brain doesn't need.
It's quite funny because I asked him 'Then the brain is getting empty right ?' then he told me 'Remy, you never do that don't you ? Your brain is ALWAYS empty !'

It probably is a trance... our body always slips in and out of trances haha. Everytime we sleep we go into a trance.

While we are sleeping, our eyes are shaking like crazy. That's quite impressive to look at.

Yeh lol. Espesially when you just wake up or when your trying to get ready and cba so you think ok i will just sit for a minute.

Hehe yeh lol. It makes you hear nothing about from this like wierd comforting sound. It sounds kinda like air but if you leave the trance thing it disapears an then you feel all cold and disapointed
