I tend to give boxing day shopping a miss TBH as it is so busy and does kind of define the words "boxing day" lol

Boxing is the day we are meant to give boxes of presents to the poor... which is funny because its a total contradiction because its the day everyone goes out and buys stuff for themselves. A giving holiday has turned into the most selfish.

Oh mann!! Thanks for that! I was way off, LOL! My guess was maybe in the past, it was a day where they had boxing matches. You learn something everyday then!

Boxing day is for getting over the day before.... I couldnt imagine shopping.

The whole Christmas things has its roots in the Bible but noone cares about that anymore, so any true meaning of the days has gone :joker:
