Yeah i will buy the 360 version, thats why i have both consoles due to games not fully being 100% the same, some better on the ps3 and some better on the xbox360.... Maybe upgrade my pc to have super duper graphics!

I killed my first two mutants today... I've also encountered a couple of feral ghouls at the train station. Neither of them were as bitchy as the ****ing radscorpions though.

Vault 87 is a place with just Super Mutants inside. And its dark. It scared the shizz outta me. :bawling:

some of these people are ridiculous <_< i just stumbled on an unmarked building with loads of loot inside, and these 3 Talon Company blokes - I must have shot one of them in the (unprotected) head 5 times with little impact on his health :bored: so i got impatient and took them out with a missile.

Haha :D I find the best weapons to take out people in game are things like the shotgun - as long as you are up close

It takes awhile before an energy weapon skill really pays off. It seems pointless at first because barely anyone has them and you constantly need to buy new cells but things change when you level higher.

I've only just found a laser rifle and I've found that very useful... just took out 5 or so raiders outside the Red Racing Company HQ. The laser pistol is **** though. I usually rely on the good old 10mm or the combat shotgun.

The main story is shockingly short, so I'd save that til later, though if you want, there's a DLC called Broken Steel that lets you continue playing after you finish. But it's best just avoiding the main mission for a bit :p

i did that one the other day my fave quest so far has been that crazy guy who thinks people are spying on him all the time so you have to watch them then report back to him at midnight and he gives you £150 for telling him that they are not spying on him >_>

You can do both, I killed everyone for the fun of it but then I restarted the tranquility lane part from a previous save and I went into the abandoned house and activated the failsafe. It gave me good karma. :angel:

The whole thing utterly freaked me out though. Those people just immersed in their pods for 200 years. Horrible.

I thought the ending was a bit of an anticlimax tbh. The walk from the Citadel to the Lincoln Memorial was quite fun, with all the helicopters and mini-nukes crashing around you... but I thought the Enclave were a bit naff overall. Getting out of their base was a piece of piss. And Colonel Autumn was stupidly easy to kill.

Oh and in the ending I got the Lyons girl to sacrifice herself ha2 **** chivalry.

The puzzling thing is that the default game end of Fallout 3 was so reviled by just about everyone and was fixed like you said in Broken Steel yet for New Vegas they went and done the exact same thing.

I have to admit I've never finished Fallout 3. Heck I've never played it for more than a few hours before it bored me to tears. I'm in love with New Vegas though. I had it on the PS3 and finished it with the Render Unto Caesar questline then I lost the PS3 and got the Xbox back so I'll have to start it from scratch. I had a handy save just before you're allowed branch off so I could get all the different endings :(.

And this time I have to save poor little Rex. I can't believe I let him die in my last save. I still grieve.

I still have Fallout 3 actually on Xbox so I'm going to give it a second chance. I need to play Dead Rising 2 on Xbox too because all my trophies are on PS3 which I no longer have and this annoys me.

This is all considering I can pull myself away from Halo : Reach. I've become addicted to the multiplayer. It's absurdly good fun and I never get into MP games online. Only with people.

You should all buy it [/Scott]. It's amazing. Especially the Living Dead playlists. Six spartans with shotguns, six 'zombie' elites with swords. One hit kills. The elites move super fast and you must get into good camping spots and pop them off unless they turn you into a zombie. If you're the last person remaining they all come belting after you. It's crazy.

I told him wait where I got given him and never went back. In the screens that come up in the end explaining his fate it said he eventually died because he didn't get his new brain. It was so sad.

NV was so dull. Fallout 3 was so much more fun. The main quest in 3 was like a thousand times better than the NV one.

Fallout 3 was miles better. The setting, the atmosphere, the exploration; all done many times better than in New Vegas. NV is probably the biggest disappointment of the generation for me.
