How has your year been?

2008 is slipping away and i want to know how good, or bad, everyones year has been?

Mine has been pretty awful. All year my mum has had a lot of money problems and college fees. My Nan died in april and my great nan a month after. This year only started o get better in the last few months!

My mum is now working after finishing college and is bringing in a lot of money! Christmas was almost perfect, with the exception of my nan not being there and i am really hoping that something good wil happen today or tomorrow to finish the year of on a high!

Overall the year for me has been 5/10

Its been a rubbish year. We moved to a glorious new house but had major problems shifting the old one after we moved.

We sold it just before xmas but for a hugely knocked down price which cost us massively.

Having said that, we no longer have a mortgage round our necks so its all good now :cheer2:

Awesome until december when I broke up with my girlfriend and it's been quite hard to live without her but for some personal reasons I had to do it.
And then some stupid guy crashed my car which isn't going to be fixed until a month.

Before that, I was loving it, I earned my Baccalaureate, I partied more and more, I loved my summer job in a bank (thanks daddy lol). You know, it was all good.

So I would say a 7.75/10 :bigsmile:

Best year ever.. because I achieved a lot of things.
Met Chris Jericho. <33 which is what i've always wanted to do, when you meet your idol, it's amazinggg.
I went to 5 WWE shows and had amazing seats for them all.
I left school finally.. and got good results on my GCSE's.
I lost some friends, but I made some new friends, who are awesome. =p
I saw one of my favourite bands live and was singled out in front of the whole crowd by them [they took my phone from me aha]
I finally decided what I want to do in my life.
No one important to me has died..

So this year has been the best. 10/10 <3:lovedup:

have had a lot of trouble with my ex over contact and money we even went 4 months without seeing or hearing anything from him
i have had some money troubles and troublesome neighbours
all the above will make me glad to see the back of 08

Its been an alright year, a 100% improvement on 2007, and I got myself back on track this year. Been very successful and I have done loads of stuff to be proud of. I still think 2009 is my year, I believe I will get my breakthrough this year and my life will kick off. Or maybe not as much as a breakthrough but something very big and important that gives me that step up in life :)

but 2008... 7/10. Compared to a 3/10 for 2007 haha.

The very best year for many years, with some of the worst moments ever.

The best has to be finding this site, my visit to Jamaica and the recent big Christmas party (and including New Yeras Eve too) with so many family and friends.
A fabulous year, one I wont have much trouble remembering for the rest of my life.

its been okay nothing amazingly great happened but some funny things happened about 7/10

Started awfully but ended brilliantly. If July-December was a seperate year then it would be the best year ever, but the stuff at the start drags it down a lot. 2009 should be even better, but it can't really get much worse than 2005-first half of 2008.

Worst year of my life!

- My dad was extremley sick and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and pancreitus.. hes not that that well and has only just started going back to work but not full time.

- Dad not going to work means less money for us all.

- Nan got even more sick [alzheimers etc..] and sadly passed away holding my hand just a couple of months ago in August.. worst day of my life tbh, ill never forget her.

- Failing in maths and science!

- Just found out that my grandad has Luchemia [sp] and nobody bothered to tell me.

- My auntie has now found out she has a cist on her ovary.

- My other auntie had to go for a test to see if she had bowel cancer like my grandmother had, luckily she dosent. But as it could run in the family that means mum has to be checked.. hopefully i dont.

- Finding out about Angie's illness :(

- Bad xmas, first without my nan. Quiet. And also my other grandma died on xmas day anyway so not a happy year.
