I really have no right to say this since I was totally anti-Chantelle when she changed but in her defence.....

Preston used her. She said 1 month after they got married he told her he had never wanted to marry her. So Chantelle tried to change herself-her hair and her clothes all changed dark unlike the brightness we were used to.She was trying to be someone she thought Preston would be want to be married to. When they broke up she was rebeling against that-wearing skimpy outfits,getting her hair blonde again,getting a boob job. She was trying to go back to who she used to be in an extreme way.But she was on an interview recently 'The Darker Side of Fame' and she seems the exact same sweet girl we saw in that house. Poor Chantelle.
