The ex-boyfriend of X Factor finalist Diana Vickers has said that she is not in love with Eoghan Quigg.
Chris Jones is desperate to be reconciled with Diana despite her alleged relationship with Eoghan.
Speaking to Heat, the 18-year-old student confirmed that the pair broke-up a few weeks ago but he denied that this had anything to do with Quigg.
He explained: "I don't know if we will get back together or not.
"Diana hasn't told me she is in love with Eoghan, so I'm really not sure what's going on.
"It's awful because everywhere I go, all of my mates - and people I've never met - know everything that's happened between me and Diana. That's quite hard to deal with."
Chris is hopeful that the couple will get back together after their mutually agreed break.
Eoghan and Diana will be reunited in February when they tour the UK on the X Factor live tour.
The arduous tour will see the X Factor contestants perform 25 concerts in one month and will include four gigs in Aberdeen.
