View Full Version : Tonight's launch, New TiBB Design, Moderator

Just a couple of things about tonight's launch.

If the server is struggling under pressure, we may have to temporarily do things like remove signatures/avatars. If the server crashes at all (fingers crossed it won't) we will make the board not viewable by guests.

If the database crashes, we will restart it as soon as we can. (again fingers crossed we should be ok)

It may be a little slower than usual, but it's impossible to tell at the moment. Will keep you informed. There's 200 people browsing at the moment and everything is fine. I'm not estimating this number going over 800, so everything will probably be ok.

Oh, and the new TiBB site is likely to be functional tomorrow morning... MAYBE tonight, but it depends on how things go.

New moderator likely to be announced tomorrow too. It's pretty much been decided, we just need to contact them.

Whats changing, the site the forum or the whole lot? Because I dont think I want to leave this forum design. Uncertainty can be a dangerous thing.

No Mark did. BTW Stu, you could always just change it back on the Control Panel.

Oh thats cool. I was under the assumption that a new forum design would override everything, including any past options to set the forums design.

The forum isn't changing. There will be a new theme tomorrow to match the new site design that's all, that you can change to in your control panel if you wish.

It is common knowledge that the pink theme Stu currently uses both damages your eyes and increases your awesomeness.

I just had a proper look at the themes for the first time ever. Theirs one called 'mystic' and I have no idea how it earned it's name, as I have seen more mysterious tins of dog food.
