Michelle Bass has been signed up for a starring role in a Christmas panto.

She will play the Princess in a production of Aladdin at the Alban Arena, St Albans.

The former Big Brother housemate told Heat magazine: "I'm delighted to get this part. I always used to watcch pantomimes as a kid and it's every little girl's dream to play an princess.

"It will be great trying on all the costumes, and Stu and the other housemates will come along to watch me."

The show, which runs from December 9 to January 2, also stars Jamie Rickers as Wishee Washee and Spiderman.

Qdos has a history of casting former Big Brother contestants in its shows.

Last year winner Cameron Stout starred in Peter Pan in Aberdeen and, in 2002, Jonny Regan appeared in Boogie Nights.

This news is quite old now. I can only wonder how it's just found its way onto Ananova?

Still, as I've said elsewhere, I think it's quite ironic that Michelle gets to be the Princess and Shell has become the Page 3 girl/glamour model.

Whatever next?

SO Big Brother bunny boiler Michelle Bass has landed a job in panto - she's being paid £25,000 to play the princess in Aladdin in St Albans.

Apparently, she really impressed in the audition thanks to the experience she was able to bring to the role. Every time she and Stu have been out in the last couple of months, people have been shouting out: 'Watch out, she's behind you ...'
