My new system that I got yesterday has developed a fault (See attached image)

It happened when I was trying to install NovaPDF Lite 4 on my system and I got a bit about a spooler not working

Now I get that error message every time on start up.

Once I click the ok I never encounter any further problems, well not that I know of

It is unsettling though that I managed to foul up my system in just over a day.

As NovaPDF 4 never installed, there is nothing in the subfolder . I downloaded a more recent revision in hope that installing that would clear this but it has not.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version and still it is coming up on boot up.

Even more galling, after paying to register this newer version, the registration key they sent does not seem to work.

:conf:

Any clues?

I'm sure that's a Lexmark printer driver file, Sticks. Try reinstalling the driver to see if that clears up the error for you. If not, do a search, including system files, for the "LXCFtime.dll" file to see if Vista can find it, then copy it to the location above.

Which seems odd as when I installed on the new system the two lexmark printers I have (X1180 and Z735) did not give any errors when I installed them.

:conf:

I will try that later when I am on the desktop

It looks like NovaPDF may be off the hook on this one (http://www.ureader.com/msg/12883134.aspx)
