JORDAN and Peter Andre will be at it on the sofa every morning — presenting updates from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

The lovers are set to host daily reports about the reality show on ITV1’s This Morning.

A show insider confirmed glamour girl Jordan and singer Peter are set to sign a deal to host coverage from the This Morning studio in November.

They will work alongside regular presenters Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton.

Peter, 31, and Jordan, 26 — real name Katie Price — met when they took part in the show’s last run in the Aussie jungle in February.

The source said: “It’s a great coup. They have good memories of I’m A Celebrity, it’s where they fell in love.”

The rumoured line-up includes actress Emma Noble, model Sophie Anderton, ex-EastEnder Sid Owen, javelin ace Steve Backley, 80s singer Chesney Hawkes, ice skater Jayne Torvill and Neighbours star Anne Charleston, who was Madge Bishop.

A carry on with Cleo

BUSTY Cleo Rocos is in talks to join I’m A Celeb.

The Brazilian, once Kenny Everett’s sidekick, got producers’ attention for asking Neil Morrissey to rub sun cream on her chest in Tobago.

Easy cash for Harvey

EX-EAST 17 singer Brian Harvey has been offered £75,000 to go on I’m A Celeb.

But he and model lover Emma B have said no to being the show’s first couple to appear together.

SOCCER hardman Dennis Wise has been forced to turn down the chance of starring on I'm A Celebrity.

The ex-England midfielder, now manager of Millwall, was offered a spot in the fourth series starting in November.

But pint-sized Wise, 37, can't afford the time for the jungle reality show because of his soccer commitments. He turned down the chance to join a line-up that could include TV babe Gail Porter, Scary Spice Mel B, and pop badboy Brian Harvey.

ITV are trying to tempt Sven Goran Eriksson's lover Nancy Dell'Olio with a £120,000 deal to stop her joining BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

An ITV source said: "It's a shame. Wisey is very funny."

Bri mad enough for the jungle
FORMER E17 pop star Brian Harvey WILL appear on I’m A Celebrity — after psychologists gave him the all-clear to enter the jungle.

The bad boy singer, 30, had to pass a series of tests before being allowed on the hit ITV1 show.

A telly insider said: “Let’s face it. Brian has been through enough tough times to cope with a stint in the jungle.”

But his blonde model girlfriend Emma B, 24, is still deciding whether to join him Down Under.

The pair, who have dated for three years, were set to be the show’s first ready-made couple.

Brian’s career plummeted after he was thrown out of E17 for condoning ecstasy use.

He has recently been recovering from severe depression.

He will join troubled model Sophie Anderton, 27, and royal blabbermouth butler Paul Burrell, 46, on I’m A Celebrity next month.

Others rumoured to be in the line-up include Olympic ice skating champs Jayne Torvill, 47, and Christopher Dean, 46, Seventies Page 3 girl Jilly Johnson, 52, and one-hit-wonder Chesney Hawkes, 33.

HUGGY BEAR star Antonio Fargas has joined the I’m A Celeb line-up at the eleventh hour, TV Biz can reveal.

The actor, who became a ’70s icon playing the super-cool informant in Starsky and Hutch, has signed a £75,000 deal to head to the Australian jungle.

Antonio has taken on cult status among rappers and appeared in videos for Snoop Dogg.

One ITV insider said: “Like Huggy Bear, Antonio has become a huge icon and is seen as incredibly cool by his fans.

“He is heavily involved in music but is also still in touch with his Starsky and Hutch co-stars David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser.

“But he also has a cheeky sense of humour.”

The 6ft 1in actor last year appeared in BBC1 drama Holby City playing a musician suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

He recently said: “I’d like to think people are starting to see me as a little bit beyond the Starsky and Hutch cool guy, which was four years out of my whole career.”

Antonio, 58, is due to fly out to Australia in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Emma B last night sensationally QUIT I’m A Celebrity — 36 hours before she was due to fly out.

The blonde model, 24, and boyfriend Brian Harvey were set to become the show’s first couple.

Former East 17 frontman Brian will STILL take part. But Emma feared the time in the Aussie jungle would strain their relationship.

She said: “We don’t row very often but I was worried the pressure on us in the jungle could have caused problems.”

She will stay in a five-star hotel while he roughs it in Murwillumbah, New South Wales.

I’m A Celebrity starts on Sunday with Sophie Anderton, Vic Reeves’ wife Nancy Sorrell, Brian Harvey, ex-royal butler Paul Burrell, Three Degrees star Sheila Ferguson, Natalie Appleton, comedian Joe Pasquale, Page 3 legend Jilly Johnson and Kylie’s ex-boyfriend James Gooding.

STARS will face their toughest time yet on the new I’m A Celeb.

Producers plan even crueller tasks, plus shock additions to the line-up to stir things.

And for the first time they will keep contestants apart until the moment they enter the jungle.

Producer Alex Gardiner said: “We’re billing this as a series of surprises.

“In the past, we’ve flown the celebrities out a few days early to let them acclimatise and get to know each other.

“This time we want to put them off their stride.”

Stars will travel to Australia this week on separate flights and stay in different hotels until they enter the camp.

The Sun has told how “wild cards” such as singer Lisa Scott-Lee may be brought in later.

MODEL Sophie Anderton will be able to dodge Jennie Bond’s stunt of being buried alive with rats — because her body is worth too much.

She said: “I hate rats. There’s no way I want to get into a situation where they are nibbling me. My face and legs are insured for too much.”

DUMMY runs of I’m A Celebrity are already being filmed — with Aussies standing in for the stars.

A show insider said: “It’s our way of making sure everything works out fine when we go live on air.”

Hosts Ant and Dec are rehearsing at their jungle studios ready for the start at 9pm on Sunday.

ITV chiefs have shipped out a massive 450 crew to Australia to film the show.

The team — I’m A Celeb’s biggest yet — includes producers and cameramen as well as personal minders for the stars.

Some producers have been there for three months to prepare for the show.

TROUBLED Brian Harvey will join the celebrities in the jungle today amid fears the death of his nan could push him over the edge.

The former East 17 star has serious mental problems and has relied on anti-depressants since he threatened suicide in April.

There are also fears Natalie Appleton could also crack up on the show.

Brian, 30, was devastated to be told moments after he arrived in Oz on Friday morning that his 70-year-old nan Betty Nabb had died.

But yesterday he declared he wanted to carry on with the show and will be flown by helicopter to the camp in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, today to join models Sophie Anderton, 27, Nancy Sorrell, 30, singer Natalie Appleton, 31, ex-butler Paul Burrell, 46, nightclub boss Fran Cosgrave, 27, journalist Janet Street-Porter, 57, comic Joe Pasquale, 43, Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson, 56 and Huggy Bear actor Antonio Fargas, 58.

But Brian's girlfriend Emma B and best mate Andy Lysandrou fear he's making a big mistake.

Emma said: "I am really worried about Brian. It is a lot for him to cope with being in front of the cameras after someone so close to him has died."

Andy added: "Brian was so close to his nan, this will knock him for six."

Yesterday Brian, who was raised by his nan and grandad Bert, who died last Christmas, after his parents split, said: "My nan was really excited about me coming to do the show and I do think that her and my grandad wouldn't have wanted me to miss out."

The death of his nan has helped Brian make peace with his mother Pauline. They hadn't spoken in years, but he rang her from Australia and she gave him her blessing to go on the show, even if it means missing his nan's funeral.

But his decision to carry on with the show has alarmed Andy, who has told the News of the World how he stopped Brian from committing suicide in April.

"He was at rock bottom and threatening to kill himself," recalled Andy, who with his Truestepper partner Jonny L has recorded a single with Brian called SOS In The Jungle. "If I hadn't got him to the hospital I think he would have topped himself."

Brian had sunk into a deep depression after a series of setbacks.

A record deal had fallen through, he had been barred from seeing his six-year-old daughter Teigan after a battle with ex-wife Natasha Goldman and he had been evicted from his flat, which meant he was back living with his nan. Andy said: "He was desperate."

Brian will face more problems when he leaves the jungle. His nan's death means he has to move out of her Walthamstow council house—which will leave him homeless.

Natalie's mental state is also causing concern. Her husband Prodigy's Liam Howlett warned her against taking part but Natalie told the News of the World she wanted to use the show to tackle her obsessive behaviour.

Natalie, 31, said: "I have a few things that I have to conquer within myself."

She said: "I need to nip in the bud all the compulsive things that I do."

NATALIE is joint favourite with Joe Pasquale to win at 4/1. The rest of the odds are: Antonio, 5/1; Brian, 7/1; Nancy, 8/1; Janet and Sophie, 10/1; Fran, 12/1; Sheila and Paul 14/1.

TERRIFIED I'm a Celebrity stars had to parachute into the jungle during a rainstorm yesterday.

Comedian Vic Reeves' wife Nancy Sorrell gasped in horror as she, Paul Burrell, Fran Cosgrave and Joe Pasquale made the 12,000ft leap.

The jump was sprung on them in a cruel surprise by the ITV crew, who dragged them out of their luxury hotel beds at 4am.

But Nancy panted: "I can't believe I did it, but I really loved it. It was tough. After I'd jumped off a plane millions of feet up I think I can do anything - well, not really, but it's given me so much confidence."

Before his leap ex-Royal butler Burrell revealed his pal - movie star Tom Hanks - had left him an odd message. He said: "When I phoned home to say 'goodbye' to my boys, they very excitedly told me 'Daddy, Tom Hanks has sent you a message ... he says 'Don't let the bugs crawl up yer ass'!"

In another twist, the other celebs - Sophie Anderton, Janet Street-Porter, Sheila Ferguson and Antonio 'Huggy Bear' Fergas - had to trek to camp on horseback, cowboy-style.

About 16 million viewers are expected to watch tonight's first episode of ITV1's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! And they'll also see the knives being sharpened as the bitching begins.

Terrified Burrell is seen hanging on to Nancy for dear life as she tries to calm him down before the plunge, which included a five-second free-fall in tandem with a trainer. But he ignored her advice as he leapt, screaming: "No, no, no."

But when Princess Diana's former butler finally did it the weather rapidly worsened as rain beat down and a huge gust of wind blew him and his jump expert a quarter mile off course. A helicopter was sent to fetch them.

An ITV spokesman said: "All four were floored when told of their task. The producers had asked them in interviews that if they were asked to do a parachute jump, would they agree to do it. They all said 'yes'.

"But they thought they were being flown into the Australian jungle."

Natalie Appleton almost failed the first task as she faced up to her fear of flying. The petrified All-Saints star was comforted as the plane took off and Sophie told her: "Breathe deeply baby. Don't cry, you'll be fine."

But as the helicopter banked steeply ashen-faced Nat clung onto the seat for dear life, screaming for a sick bag.

As Natalie's group got on their horses Janet told her expert instructor: "I'm not getting on a horse unless I've got an idea of a cut-off point."

And no sooner had the celebs swung into the jungle than the bitchfest began. Burrell was the first victim when Sheila joked about his sexuality.

Asked if she fancied any of the contestants, The Three Degrees singer said: "Oh Gawd, you've got to be joking! I thought Paul Burrell was gay but somebody said 'Oh no, he's married.' But that doesn't mean a lot."

Sir Elton John, in a message of support for his prickly pal Janet Street-Porter warned: "Ooh, now there's fireworks - Janet and Paul Burrell. That would be quite an interesting celebrity death match. I don't think she likes him very much."

Meanwhile, grief-stricken Brian Harvey last night confirmed he'll be staying in the jungle for the two-week show and will miss his gran Betty Nabb's funeral. Betty brought him up after his parents split, and the former E-17 singer said: "It came as a great shock. I weighed up going into the jungle or getting on the plane home. My nan was excited about me coming to do the show. Both her and my grandad would not have wanted me to miss out on this amazing opportunity."

LATEST ODDS4/1: Natalie and Joe

5/1: Antonio

7/1: Brian 8/1: Nancy 10/1: Janet and Sophie 12/1: Fran.

14/1: Sheila and Paul

Bl**dy Hell!!!

I was helpless to stop myself watching JADE (Screams long and horribly) sitting on the sofa between Alison Moyet and Chris Tarrant on Paul O'Grady's show tonight.

Judging by the clips shown she was pontificating about IACGMOOH.

Mercifully the sound wasn't on, but the only crosstrainer in the gym not taken was right in front of the screen (wonders why?).

What, please for the love of sanity is it that makes people keep employing her? I can only imagine that Chris Tarrant - who can be forgiven much for the genius that was Tiswas- and Alison Moyet, a superbly talented singer will have been on to their agents tonight demanding an explanation.

They certainly deserve better company than that.

OMG thank goodness I missed Jade - no doubt she was promoting her so called book. Now that really is someone who should retire to public life. I'm surprised she didnt want to get into the jungle too, then we could have heard all about her hard life, how Jeff treated her badly and her wonderful kids and she could have had a good cry. :bawling::bawling:

As for the ones who are in there, I do hope Joe wins. I have always liked him - he is annoying but after having seen some of his live shows (which left me and the rest of the audience in fits of laughter) he is being himself which is more than can be said for some of the others. Its amazing how they all have roles to play from past junglites (??). ie. cry baby, model, older woman etc etc.

Emma B joins the jungle?

Emma B has added to the speculation that she could be the twelfth celebrity to enter the jungle.

The model reportedly pulled out of the show at the last moment, but she could be about to join her boyfriend Brian Harvey in the jungle.

She is currently on her way to Australia and refused to confirm or deny that she would join the other celebrities.

"I really really miss Brian and would do anything to see him before he comes out," she told reporters gathered at the airport.

"I wouldn't mind a fly-in visit if I didn't do have to do any of the trials... as long as I didn't have to eat any bugs, I think I'd be fine."

She continued: "Brian's doing quite well though and I wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardise that. But if the opportunity came up, it would be a possibility."

Jungle Brian won't stay another day
12.31PM, Fri Nov 26 2004
ITV

Singer Brian Harvey has packed his bags and walked out off the set of I'm A Celebrity after a row with Janet Street-Porter.

Tempers flared when the former East 17 apparently broke wind near the veteran journalist and television executive.

Brian has been struggling with his emotions following the death of his grandmother.

News of her death was broken to him on his arrival in Australia and he entered the jungle a day late.

On Wednesday the 30-year-old faced the grim House of Pies challenge in which he had to eat insect-infested pies covered by a swarm of flies.

And viewers had seen Harvey become increasingly upset by the number of flies which had found their way into his camp bed.

Brian defends Natalie

Brian Harvey has defended fellow quitter Natalie Appleton over her decision to leave I'm A Celebrity.

The former East 17 singer also accused the programme's producers of misrepresenting her on screen.

"I kind of had a feeling that she was going to go," he told GMTV this morning reports Digitalspy.

"Everything that you see of her in the jungle... I don't think the edit did her much justice, to be honest.

"There's nothing fake about her at all. She really was scared and she has got real a paranoia about heights.

"She has had it quite bad in there. The girl that I've seen in the jungle... she's a really nice girl and I would ask everyone not to come down too hard on her."

Natalie leaves the jungle

Natalie Appleton has quit I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

She walked out of the show after being selected by the public to face her fifth Bushtucker Trial.

Natalie was due to be buried up to her neck in a muddy swamp, then have rats and snakes dumped on her head.

As hosts Ant and Dec revealed she had been voted to face another ordeal, Nat said: "Shall I get my coat? I might as well have come here on my own. Thank you England."

After contemplating another trial Natalie decided she could not face another day in the jungle and left.

Producers tried to convince the pop star to stay but she walked out of the show saying she was tired, hungry and missing her family.

A BID to ban bushtucker trials from reality TV show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, has been launched by MPs.

They signed a Commons motion accusing the ITV1 show's producers of "animal abuse".

Led by former Sports minister Tony Banks, the MPs claim the trials are cruel. Some involve eating live bugs and manhandling animals.

Another sees a star buried in a coffin of rats.

Mr Banks said if ITV continues with the "inane" show, the trials should not include "tormenting, abusing or killing animals, reptiles and insects".

MPs suggest trials without animals, such as a quiz.

In the motion, which is unlikely to result in any legal changes, Mr Banks claims the "Z-list celebrities" agree to go along with anything if it will help revive their career.

Comic Joe Pasquale won last month's show, in which former royal butler Paul Burrell was made to eat kangaroo testicles.
