This is where it gets tricky. Being a singer is one thing. People like Leona can get away with singing anything because they are just so good at singing.Having a full time pop group is a different story. I dont believe in going out their releasing albums and performing them with your name if they did not originate form your brain. People are always going to disagree, I know, and I like a bit of pop every once in awhile [Read : When im really drunk] but their my views :blush2:.

What would the songwritters do? Well first off, I dont consider pop songs to be of much artistic merit. Pop is a business. And I dont consider the songs that great, in terms of lyricism. Really, pop is not about lyricism. Anybody can see that. So who knows. If they can sing, give it a bash I say :wink:.

Tommy is very good and convincing in a speech, so I'll go down the non-musical route and say Tommy.

I think if anything, the contest highlighted what mediocre talent they all had. If I had to choose, I'd say Mutya can hold a note.

Mutya was by far the best, Ben was cheesy and Coolio was full of it. Thought Tina was brill at the old Shakespeare though, not easy to learn in such a short time and she showed Verne up - who needs Hollywood stars. :elephant:
