Ok hate to sound like the loser because i try and follow soccer (football) in the states, but its hard....ive played FIFA many times as well, but i have always wondered what the whole deal with "transfers" are. I mean i guess i think it means one team gets a player for a certain amount of time, buthow does it work, and why is it done? i couldnt imagine players in the NFL going to another team for a few games just on loan...its an interesting concept to me, but i am not sure if i follow it fully.

Can someone explain please? Thanks in advance
