I'm just curious to see how many people have rented houses because we're gonna get one in the summer. We've never really had a rented house so I'm curious to know whether you feel "at home" in it or not?

Bought,well mortaged but not much left to go!

My friend rented a house for years and she never liked it,but I think she just didn't like the house.

Bought but we didn't buy it, it was my nanas but she left it to my mum ...

My mum rents out another one as well that shes just developed, the idea was to sell it but its a bit of a crap climate to do it in so shes waiting until after we've hit the bottom peak of the recession

Tbh I think you can feel at home anywhere as long as you're happy with where you live. Doesn't matter if you own it or not I mean there are plenty of skanks with bought houses and plenty of nice people with council houses who are very houseproud

Moved a couple of years ago, we were keen on renting but after past expirences we decided against it and bought a townhouse... we are still here two years on... I love it. :love:

Rented, I live in a council house. But its the only one on the road and we have got a cheap house while everyone has to buy theirs :P

Dad's is bought, it's for sale though.. as it is technically mums and dads and hasn't sold since they got divorced...

Mum lives in a rented house :3

I am in the same position as others, I own my home and have other properties that I rent out, we bought them when house prices were very low and have no outstanding mortgage on the rented properties.

But its the best time at the moment to buy other properties when the prices are really low and rent them, you are more than likely to make money when the house prices do rise again.
