Big Brother 8 contestant Seany O'Kane has announced that he is to become a father.
The former reality star, who revealed he was gay shortly before entering the competition, has donated his sperm to an infertile couple.
"Seany is letting you all know he is going to be a dad. Baby due July 2009. Thank-you please," he wrote as his Facebook status.
The baby is due on July 8 and will be half-Irish and half-Zimbabwean, according to Johnny Ikon.
"I don't know if Seany's going to be involved. It could get confusing for the child, having two dads. He only did it to help them, but he's very proud that he's going to become a dad," a source told the showbiz blog.
