Does Anyone NOT Go Onto The DigitalSpy Forums?

I use to post there, but I got banned so many times for the littlest thing. Anyways, I like that its more active there. There is always something to talk about. But truthfully, the members are very bitter in there. MOst of them are women in their 30's, so it gets very bitchhy obviously.

I no longer go there, I fell foul of a demented Irish woman and ended up with a permanent ban.

They can ban your IP Number but they can't stop you using a Proxy (if you really want to go there, I don't!)

Anyone who wants a good Proxy site, U2U me!!!! lol

The site's brilliant but the forum really puts me off. They insult everyone on there and its always so negative. Even if someone's died, theres always the occasional "why should I care?" which is highly disrespectful. I LOVE how they all think their hilarious too.

The forum is disgusting, the members are so rude, I joined two years ago and I was ripped to shreds for liking Charley. I love the site, I always go on there every day without fail but the forum is the downfall of the site. The mods are so harsh on there as well I got banned for posting a duplicate thread.

Agreed. And the posting quality is way better on DS, I can always find an interesting and entertaining thread to read through there. There's far too many one-worded posts on this forum.

They are stricter with insults there, which I like actually. But sometimes, they ban you for the stupidest reasons.

I agree. Its not that they are horrible, they are just opinionated, and dont tend to back down. But they never insult anyone, or they get banned.

I used to love DS, but I have been permabanned so many times, for stupid things ( e.g Telling somebody that my post went way over their head, using the 'yawn' icon in my response) that I have given up on the place now.

Its a decent forum which is spolied by bias, power hungry mods and large amounts of bitter know it alls and 'politically correct' fanatics who thrive on being 'outraged' by peoples posts.

The mods on this site are far more reasonable and down to earth and you can actually have a heated debate if you want to.

Never really been on the site other than to trace users that have appeared on here and caused problems that might have been banned there, and that was just for general information. And the last time I did that was so long ago I can't even remember if I made a account there now.

So the answer is basically no, I don't go on DS to post, although I have read the site as part of my role here in the past.

I post there quite a lot. I don't use the BB forum that much when the show is on air though. Mainly in the ratings thread, I'm more interested in the production and build up towards the show these days than the actual show itself. I'm usually only a part time viewer by the half way point. There are some aggressive folk there yes, but most of them are nice enough once you get to know them. I've only had one ban myself (which was fully deserved), but admit that the mods can over react at times.

I'm not a forum memeber on there, but I do go on there to read stuff. It's another point of view. Sometimes they go into loads more detail, sometimes they don't. And I know other people on here are users too.
