The High School Musical star apparently auditioned for sequel New Moon...
Vanessa Hudgens has apparently auditioned for the Twilight sequel New Moon, according to Twilight actress Ashley Greene.

Greene told MTV.com that The High School Musical star tried out for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater, Jacob Black's feisty and heartbroken frienemy.

'I think she'd be great' Greene told our colleagues in the US.

Greene also stated that the Twilight writers are rewriting of the script for New Moon.

Oooooh! I remember there being something about it in that chapter at the beach in Twilight. Didn't jacob say he's people change or something.

I think so. I still haven't finished New Moon so I can't really answer anything.
