Mutya and Tina have confessed that money is a major reason for their presence in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Tina said: "I can't believe I've come in here. I still can't believe I did it."

Mutya said she felt the same way, adding that before appearing on the show she had always said: "No, don't be stupid, why would I ever do a thing like that?"

But after a silence, she added: "The money's great."

"Yeah, exactly," Tina replied.

Before the housemates entered the compound, their supposed fees were leaked in the press, with a wide difference in the reported payments for the show.

According to figures quoted by the News Of The World, Mutya is being paid £60,000 for her appearance, while Tina is receiving £30,000.

Ulrika is allegedly the highest-paid housemate, earning £175,000.

Good for them to admit it
They are all in there for the money really and to have a chance to further their careers.

Depends what you call entertaining, as I find watching Foolio dull as ditchwater. Seen his kind before, and they just suck the entertainment out of the show every time
