Big Brother is censoring youCELEBRITY Big Brother producers have complained that the latest BB series is the most censored EVER.

Endemol, which makes the programme, must show all footage to Channel 4 compliance chiefs before allowing it on screen.

But this year’s show is even stricter after the race row that stunned the globe in 2007, which saw C4 rapped by TV watchdog Ofcom for screening the footage of Jade Goody’s bullying antics.

Last night a show insider said: “Production are having a bit of a tough time because they are being deluged by emails from compliance at Channel 4 over every little thing.

“They are terrified of Coolio being seen as a bully or the series as a whole being in any way controversial. Tina’s rages have also been edited down.”

Rapper Coolio has left show bosses worried as housemates Lucy Pinder, Michelle Heaton and Tina Malone have all complained about his bullying behaviour and vile language.

They have been forced to give him a warning as Ofcom launched a probe into the gangsta rapper — who was this week seen screeching at Shameless actress Tina “Just shut your big-ass mouth.”

Big Brother called Coolio into the Diary Room after a row broke out over the shopping list to give him “time to calm down”.

Coolio said: “They’re being silly, man, separating their food, we were doing just fine.”

Tina was also asked how she was. She said: “Fine now.”

Last night Ofcom confirmed it was investigating complaints it had received about Coolio, but had yet to launch an official inquiry.

The American rapper continued to live up to his “sex pest” tag last night — by grabbing a clearly uncomfortable Mutya Buena, although she eventually broke free from his hold.

But that didn’t deter the rapper, who later climbed on to her bed and put his arm around her.

So far in the series Coolio has made sexual advances to four of his female contestants, joked about physically abusing women and referred to them as “*****s and bitches”.

He recently also upset Mutya by trying to lay his head on her lap.

She said: “Do you want a pillow?” He replied: “No, I want to lay on your thigh.” She then brushed his head away.

This can't cause the producers much stress! They have NO "live" feed to speak of and they must have hours and hours of untransmitted tapes that they can sanitize at leisure!

:joker:

They show OLD empty rooms why not OLD sanitized video with sound?

You can thank the "fans" here for this.

You are obviously completely missing the point - the producers seem to want the show we want, with live feeds and an uncensored account of what's happening in the house - but C4 aren't letting them do their job, and hence we end up with a **** show.

I don't know if you call the people that complain to Ofcom all the time fans of the show, because they are clearly out to ruin it and it's working.

I doubt if any "fans" HERE have complained to OFCOM, I know I haven't but I reserve the right to criticise the the Show, the Producers, Endemol and Ch 4. If they want to screw up their own creation we have a right to voice our discontent!

I think alot of true fans have complained to C4 especially about the live feed situation - it'll be interesting to see the numbers when they're released next month. I've never ever ever seen anything on the show that would warrant an OFCOM complaint though - not even my concern over that innocent wine bottle when Kinga was in the house.

It's a bit of stick and carrot though to get your voice heard - I think it might be worth this week sending them a message praising Jack Whitehall to increase his chances of getting the gig permanently this summer, as nobody wants another summer of Big Mouth guest hosts when they've already got the perfect host ready and able to do the job.

Big Brother makers Endemol have reportedly complained about the strict censorship rules guiding the production of the programme.

This year's Celebrity Big Brother has been under close scrutiny following the racism and bullying row involving Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty in 2007.

A show insider told The Sun: "Production are having a bit of a tough time because they are being deluged by emails from compliance at Channel 4 over every little thing.

"They are terrified of Coolio being seen as a bully or the series as a whole being in any way controversial. Tina’s rages have also been edited down."

Yesterday Ofcom confirmed that it is investigating complaints it had received about Coolio, but has not launched an official inquiry.
