I have a feeling that it will be about the same size as bb5's house the theme of the design will be ultra modern <uncomfertable> and will probally be a mix of evil and twisted and secrets ?

Your gut feeling is probably correct then considering that's the last thing the show needs. The house needs to be different to any house before it, with a large open plan feel rather than a confined space, and preferbly a second floor this time too.

Evil and twisted is so BB5, while I think secret rooms have pretty much been exhausted - but I like the idea of a house that grows over the weeks with new rooms being added such as a gym, pool, sauna, etc.

Anything that has already been done should never ever ever ever ever ever EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER done again, thats why BB is in the mess its in atm! Its seen it all before

Bring on a new format and a new style of house. As long as it stays at Elstree it doesn't really matter

Last chance for me though, they have to prove that I'm not growing out of BB

To be honest it's Elstree that's killing it - they need to move not only so they have a bigger plot to work with (for a bigger house and separate task arena), but also so they don't have to put up with the ridiculous restrictions on crowds which limits the number of evictions and means most of them now can't even be shown live.

Apart from this year's launch show, I don't think there has been a launch, eviction or finale that's been 100% live since BB8.

Was this years live? It didn't have the live tag so I assumed it was filmed about half an hour in advance like the BB9 launch. Also the live issue isn't fully to do with the crowd restrictions. I think it was the BB7 final where there was a bit of swearing when it went out at 8pm, and this was at the time the OFCOM brigade starting going silly with complaining. So they had to crack down on that so I think even if the crowds could stay after 11pm we'd still have delayed evictions if it was on at 10.35pm. If tonights eviction holds up well when head to head against Corrie then hopefully that will give them the confidence to put the evictions back at 8.30pm and 10pm in the summer. Otherwise a show from 9pm-10.30pm should do fine, and that also adds on an extra 5 minutes for a twist, task (maybe launch a HOH task live?), friends and family features etc because the first part of the eviction itself is a "what happened earlier", and Davina speaking to the house whereas if it was all one show they'd come out straight away.

I also think the house at Elstree is quite iconic and its pretty useful as well- not a lot of studios would be willing to build a BB house next door, and that studio is about as far away from the "real world" as you can get so they shouldn't ditch that just yet. I think there is plenty they can do with it. But I do think that they ought to bulldoze the lot and start from scratch, I mean when the lights are shining on certain parts it looks like its falling apart, looks even worse in person! They do have quite a big plot its just not being used very well because of the shape of the house and they could have a second floor if it didn't have a pointless sloping roof.

If live shows aren't killed by restrictions you are right - it's OFCOM that kill them - but there doesn't need to be a 15-minute delay. If prudish American can cope with 7-seconds to edit our swearing, I'm sure we could cope with a delay of just a minute or so. Most of the time they get caught out both ways.
