View Full Version : Should The Veronicas Try Break UK Market?

So they been around in Australia and New Zealand for a few years now, and have just broke into the USA Billboard Chart at number 28 and climbing very fast with their song 'Untouched'. They look set to release over here with the same song.

But will the UK market like it? Take a listen and leave your comments.

I love The Veronicas anyway, they're amazing.

I just think while GaGa is around = bad choice.

The Veronicas :love: I think/hope they'd do really well here actually.. and I'm really happy that their hard work in the US payed off.

I renember on the Veronicas Board a while ago.. because the UK/European fans were wondering why there's been no releases here and so on, Lisa replied to the topic saying that the head of WB America won't allow them to release their music anywhere else in the world until they crack the US market.

Since then I've heard that Untouched may be released here during the summer, woo!

I KNEW when I saw you back Ben that there'd be a thread on The Veronicas :P

I really like The Veronicas but I think they should wait till mid-year.
Electropop is huge atm [Sam Sparro, Robyn, Britney, Xtina, Gaga etc] but they should wait till there's a gap.

I do like them a lot but I don't think they will succeed over here. Their music sounds too 'American', but then again it worked wonders for Avril Lavigne so y'know.

The song has also been removed from the UK iTunes store so I assume it's going to be released here soon.

Hahahahaha, I only joined this site because I found this thread when I googled "The Veronicas UK tour"..........

They're going to release over here March 23 for definite???????????
