I hate when new artists are basically rehashing other current artists in terms of sound and style.

I'm thinking of Katy Perry = Pink and Lady Gaga = Gwen Stefani, though I am sure there are many other examples. I know it's hard to be unique in the music business, but there's similar and then there's taking the mickey. Katy Perry sounds so much like Pink in Hot 'N' Cold, and Lady Gaga's generally just a clone of Gwen Stefani. I'm not slating the actual music they produce, which is alright, I just hate it when this kind of thing happens. Anyone else agree?

it was bad enough with one of them, then there were 2

I think that because the music industry at the moment is so incredibly oestrogen based, its a bit difficult for artists not to sound similar to be honest.

Katy Perry is nothing like P!NK, well I don't think so anyways.

I don't agree at all, I don't see a big enough similarity between each.

No no no!

Katy Perry is not like P!nk. She may have one or two similar sounding songs but the rest of her album is really quite different, never something P!nk would do as she doesn't have the emotion in her voice to.

I love Katy
