Ok, Question 1 - An easy one to start off with!

Q1) What time was the hot water allocated in the BB2 house, and for how long?

OK! If you know the answer reply to this messege and wait for us to get back to you!

Mark

LEE
09-12-2001, 04:40 PM
The hot water was on for an hour each morning between 9:30 and 10:30am

Mark
09-12-2001, 04:42 PM
Well done LEE!
That was a hard qu!

Your turn to post the new question...

Mark

LEE
09-12-2001, 05:01 PM
In the Week 3 task when the housemates had to learn 15 facts about each other, what did Helen say her favourite film was?

:dazzler:

peachy
09-12-2001, 05:27 PM
This is only a guess. Was it Dirty Dancing?

LEE
09-12-2001, 05:29 PM
Good guess, but wrong. It was more recent than that.

:elephant:

peachy
09-12-2001, 05:34 PM
I've just remembered I think it might have been Strictly Ballroom, although I'm probably wrong again!

LEE
09-12-2001, 05:37 PM
Sorry peachey. It's actually nothing to do with dancing at all.

Clue: I'm sure Helen liked it cos the DVD and Video cover was very pink.

Mark
09-12-2001, 06:24 PM
It was Charlies Angels!!!!

Well at least I think it was!

Am I right?

Mark:devil:

LEE
09-12-2001, 06:29 PM
Yes Mark, you are right.

Your turn then I guess.

Mark
09-12-2001, 06:39 PM
Q3. In the BB house were two double beds. Bubble slept in the one in the boys room, but who slept in it in the girls room?

Since you have a 1 in 5 chance, you can only have 1 guess!

Mark

LEE
09-12-2001, 06:42 PM
I think it was Amma?

Mark
09-12-2001, 06:48 PM
Correct! It was Amma

Your turn LEE. I think from now on I am not going to guess the answers, I will just post saying right or wrong so its up to you all now.....
Occasionally if no-one knows the answer and I do, I will answer it.

Mark

LEE
09-12-2001, 06:52 PM
Mark

So good of you to let us mere mortals cope without you. Of course you'll know the answer to every single question.

Big Headed or what, folks?!!

LEE
09-12-2001, 07:00 PM
Who said that they would sleep with Tony Blair for a million pounds and that they thought he was quite cute?

Mark
09-12-2001, 07:01 PM
Um Nope,

Just saying that I didn't want to keep answering qu's if I knew the answers...
If I did know one, and no-one did I said I would occasionally answer ok!!!!!

Mark

LEE
09-12-2001, 07:03 PM
I've just asked it, Mark.

And BTW - I was only joking you know.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaz
09-12-2001, 10:00 PM
I know Paul said he'd snog Tony Blair for a million quid, but I think it was Brian who would sleep with him. :spin2:

LEE
09-12-2001, 10:18 PM
Almost. Brian actually asked the question, it wasn't him who answered it.

[Edited on 9-12-2001 by LEE]

peachy
10-12-2001, 02:55 PM
I'm almost frightened to answer as I'm not at all sure. I think it might have been Narinder.

Romantic Old Bird
10-12-2001, 03:35 PM
I think it was Narinder too. brian said he would sleep with a dog for a million quid. Well not his exact words, but you know what I mean....

Mark
10-12-2001, 03:51 PM
You're both wrong I'm afriad.....

LEE, you've got a brill question here!!!

Keep trying!

Mark:devil:

LEE
10-12-2001, 04:21 PM
Actually you are sort of right, Brian asked who would sleep with Tony for a million quid someone said that 'yes she would' and then Narinder added that she'd do it for as tenner!!! Such class that girl.

I'll let you have one last go at guessing who the original person was and then I'll let you out of your misery. You're running out of housemates though, so it should be getting easier.

Kaz
10-12-2001, 09:49 PM
Right, I'll have another bash - was it Amma? :spin2:

LEE
10-12-2001, 09:55 PM
:elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant:

Correct Kaz !!

Your turn.

:elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant:

Kaz
10-12-2001, 10:03 PM
OK, I don't think this one's quite so difficult...

Q.5) In the Ascot Hats mini task - who made Paul's hat?

LEE
10-12-2001, 10:37 PM
The hat task was actually one of the things I missed, so I don't know.

Feefs
11-12-2001, 10:52 AM
I know!!!

Overkeen hand in air and trying not to fall off the seat while trying to attract teachers attention.

:hello::hello::hello:

It was Dean.

Kaz
11-12-2001, 11:06 AM
:hello: :elephant: :hello: :elephant: :hello:

Well done, Feefs - you're absolutely correct. Your turn.

Feefs
11-12-2001, 12:25 PM
Oh dear, I hadn't thought through the consequences of answering correctly!

OK, when Naz was making curry one night, she forgot one of her lovely housemates. Who did Naz think should be on a diet? And how was it resolved?

:conf::conf::conf:

Kaz
12-12-2001, 10:50 AM
My gosh, Feefs - I think you've got us all stumped on this one!! :conf:

May have to resort to a little 'cheating' and pore through my BB2 book tonight, unless anyone else comes up with the answer before then. :xmas:

Mark
12-12-2001, 11:38 AM
Yeah Feefs, good question!

I know who it was but I'm not sure how it was resolved.......

Someone must know both bits...

Mark :noel:

Feefs
12-12-2001, 02:47 PM
I might have been a bit overambiguous with part 2. 'Resolved' is perhaps too mysterious a word.

Some-one else shared their dinner with the hungry one. But can you remember? Is it in the book?

chilledbootz
12-12-2001, 10:28 PM
Ok I think Naz forgot Amma, and Paul gave her some of his dinner because he's that gorgeous!!!!!:hello::laugh::laugh:

Feefs
13-12-2001, 09:10 AM
I think that's what happened too Chilledbootz!

:hello::hello::hello:

Santa will be good to you this year for being so clever.:xmas2:

And to Mr Clarke for being so nice even though he and Amma didn't get on very well.
:rudolph::rudolph::rudolph:

Kaz
13-12-2001, 12:27 PM
Well done, chilledbootz. :hello: :hello:

Over to you to ask the next question. :xmas:

chilledbootz
13-12-2001, 05:21 PM
Ok, what was the name of Dean's first wife?:elephant:

LEE
13-12-2001, 08:59 PM
Oh God, I remember that he got married at 19 and that they lasted 5 years but I've no idea what her name was!!

We're getting some really good questions on here guys, keep it up.

Kaz
14-12-2001, 08:24 AM
I think Dean's first wife was called Shirley - 'cause Stuart remarked that there was a town called Shirley not far from Birmingham and everyone thought this was extremely funny. :santa:

chilledbootz
14-12-2001, 01:18 PM
Correct Kaz. you really know your BB2:hello: Your turn

Kaz
14-12-2001, 01:36 PM
Right, here it is:

In the time travel discussion, who wanted to go back in time to be a Knight of the Round Table?
:xmas:

chilledbootz
14-12-2001, 03:56 PM
Was it ugly Josh?

Kaz
14-12-2001, 08:02 PM
:hello: :elephant: :hello: :elephant: :hello:

Spot on, chilledbootz!! Well done, I thought that one was quite obscure but obviously I was wrong.!! :spin2:

Over to you for the next question. :santa:

chilledbootz
14-12-2001, 10:40 PM
Oh blimey not me again. Ok i've had a think. The very gorgeous lovely etc etc, Mr Paul Clarke told H that he had had two long term girlfriends in the past(lucky cows). What are their names?:elephant::conf::noel:

LEE
14-12-2001, 11:00 PM
Chilledbootz, your questions are so good. I thought I knew such a lot about BB, but you're very good at proving me wrong. :conf:

peachy
15-12-2001, 10:42 AM
I think they were Melanie and Philippa.

chilledbootz
15-12-2001, 02:17 PM
Correct peachy!! Over to you:xmas:

peachy
15-12-2001, 03:03 PM
Okay, It'll have to be a paul and helen one, i'm afraid, and it's probably way to easy for us addicts, but here goes. On Tuesday night of week 8, what did paul suggest he didn't do in order to stop Helen wanting to kiss him so much?

Feefs
15-12-2001, 03:14 PM
I missed that one, but I'd guess it was something like wash. He was always complaining about being smelly. Silly boy didn't realise Helen liked that!:spin2:

peachy
15-12-2001, 03:30 PM
Good guess Feefs, I agree he was always thinking he was smelly, but it wasn't that this time. Guess again?

Kaz
15-12-2001, 03:38 PM
I haven't a clue, so I'm going to have a guess.

Did he suggest that he didn't shave? :santa:

Feefs
15-12-2001, 03:46 PM
I think it was lucky that Paul was so much taller than Helen. Having their lips in closer proximity might have made it harder to resist.

:snowman::bouncing:

Oh, I amuse myself. It's like Paul's the big snowman, and Helen's jumping to reach!

peachy
15-12-2001, 04:25 PM
Good guess, Kaz.You're right. Unfortunately Helen said that he looked 'quite nice' without having had a shave so she still fancied him, whiskery. Sweet eh?
Over to you now, Kaz

Kaz
15-12-2001, 06:59 PM
Wow, can't believe I got that right, it was a complete guess. :xmas:

OK, here's the next question

What type of insect did Amma and Paul jokingly 'adopt' and what did they call it? :rudolph:

Di2001
16-12-2001, 08:36 PM
Was that the large moth that came into the house?

Can't remember what they called it though.

:spin:

Kaz
16-12-2001, 09:35 PM
You're right with the name of the insect, Di - but the one Paul and Amma 'adopted' was outside and they tried to teach it the same tricks as Paddy!
:santa:

chilledbootz
16-12-2001, 10:31 PM
Got it I think. Was it Monty?:conf:

Mark
16-12-2001, 10:40 PM
Well done Chilledbootz! Monty is correct!
Your turn :spin2: for the next question!

Mark :snowman:

Di2001
17-12-2001, 08:58 PM
Can I offer a question??

I don't think it's been asked before!!

What sort of bird did Dean rescue from the BB house?

:xyxwave:

LEE
18-12-2001, 08:32 PM
I remember this. I can see Dean doing it, but can I remember what type of bird it was? Of course not!

I'm going to guess. A sparrow.

Di2001
22-12-2001, 11:35 AM
No, not a sparrow. A bit smaller than a sparrow.....anyone else going to try?

Mark
22-12-2001, 03:47 PM
I don't know the first thing about birds, but I will have a guess.....

Bluetit????????

Mark

peachy
22-12-2001, 04:17 PM
I also don't know anything about birds it was certainly only a small bird, perhaps a wren?

Feefs
22-12-2001, 04:51 PM
A finch? :conf:

Di2001
23-12-2001, 11:11 AM
Well done Peachy!!!

It was a wren.

:hello::hello::hello:

peachy
23-12-2001, 05:00 PM
I really can't believe I got that right, it was a total guess. I suppose it's up to me to think of a question. I'm going for an easy one, can't tax your drunken brains too much at this time of the year? What are the names of Paul's brother and sister?

WILDCHILD2K1
23-12-2001, 11:52 PM
I know Pauls sister is called Nicki but I cant think of his bro; is he called Lee?

LEE
24-12-2001, 08:38 AM
Yes he is wildchild.

Now, why did I remember that one? :xmas:

Your turn then.

LEE
31-12-2001, 05:47 PM
Hi guys, Litsis, I hope you don't mind if I set the question.

Mark:wavey:

LEE
01-01-2002, 07:57 PM
It was suggested a couple of times, I can't remember why it never happened!

Kaz
02-01-2002, 11:14 AM
It did happen, LEE! I knew I'd seen a picture somewhere of the housemates playing Twister, and I've just found it. Click here (http://www.bigbrov2pictures.homestead.com/files/twister.jpg) for the link.

Sorry, I digress. I think the next question's from you, LEE. :colour:

WILDCHILD2K1
02-01-2002, 11:39 AM
Both Brian and Elizabeth brought it into the house, I didnt realise Brian did too and I was gonna shoot you down for getting it wrong but I was, so CORRECT LEE!:colour:

LEE
02-01-2002, 09:07 PM

In the infamous ‘Who would you sleep with?’ conversation, who did Narinder choose?

WILDCHILD2K1
02-01-2002, 09:17 PM
Is it Bubble?!:conf:

LEE
02-01-2002, 09:21 PM
Yes. That was quick!! You haven't got the book there by any chance have you !!

I think it's a really amazing thing for Narinder to say, considering everything she went on to say about Bubble later.

Sorry, LEE - just couldn't resist it! :joker:

Unfortunately I'm still away from home and miles away from my trusty BB2 book (although I don't even know if the answer is in it) so I'll have a wild guess.

William? :spin2:

LEE
04-01-2002, 11:31 AM
Good guess Kaz, but completely wrong !!!!

I'll give you all a clue.

There's a very good reasons why the housemates would probably remember it. :spin2:

WILDCHILD2K1
05-01-2002, 04:00 PM

The 'Strong Cider Three Mills Tennis Tournament' results are as follows.

1 Josh

3 Paul (who was actually seeded first)

Back to you for the next question. :joker:

LEE
07-01-2002, 10:33 PM
Ok, I'm gonna set this one and then keep quiet for a while. :spin2:

This one is probably very easy, the first part at least.

When Naz gets upset about everyone getting her name wrong, what 5 variations on her name does she use as examples of what the other’s call her? Which of these names is actually the name of her cousin?

  (I do like this smilie)

LEE
15-01-2002, 01:04 PM
Just a reminder to everyone that the quiz is still here.

Come on guys, you must know the answer to this one - or at least to the first part of it. :D

disco
15-01-2002, 05:25 PM
Sureena and Sarinda ring a proverbial bell.

Kaz
17-01-2002, 02:57 PM
Sorry Disco - close, but neither of these is completely correct. :spin2:

Anyone else going to have a go? :colour:

LEE
17-01-2002, 09:26 PM
And here's me thinking this was going to be an easy one. :spin2:

Feefs
18-01-2002, 01:41 PM
Well all I could think of was Sarinder. You've got me confused. :spin2:

LEE
18-01-2002, 01:47 PM
According to the book it's Serena and Serinda not Sureena and Sarinda, but I think we should allow these to as alternative spellings.

:flower:

So, what are the other three, and which one was Narinda's cousin?

Romantic Old Bird
18-01-2002, 02:38 PM
I think one of them was Uranda......:conf:

OK, I admit it, I'm going to cheat and look in the book!!

The names are Lorinda, Serena, Serinda, Narina, Uranda.

(Do I get a gold star?!!)

:xyxwave::spin2::hello::xyxwave:

LEE
19-01-2002, 06:41 PM

I can't remember this and though logic tells me that Josh should be paying a stupid amount to get his hair cut, I have a funny feeling it was really cheap. Perhaps a fiver, but it's a pure guess. All I remember is that it inspired the whole Classy/Crappy Cuts arguement. :spin:

The housemates were having a word game where they would find the most obscure words and the others had to figure out what the word or words mean.
Brian asked the meaning of the word GASH.
It is a airline term, It caused a bit of a stir in the group because they felt it was not a real word. They did not get it right but can you?

I'm afraid it's rather a boring question but so many have been used already. Anyway here goes:
Which two housemates were evicted with the highest percentage public vote and who were they up against?

Romantic Old Bird
25-02-2002, 06:05 PM
OK, Stuart was evicted with 86% (899,788)against Paul in week 3.

Josh was evicted with 84% (1,219,834)against Helen in Week 7

Paul was evicted with 84% (952,228) against Helen in Week 8, and it was really, really sad!

Feefs
25-02-2002, 06:52 PM
It was really, really sad and I now wished I'd shown my support for Paul, but I thought it was best that Paul was the one to go and couldn't bring myself to vote out Helen anyway. :bawling:

I knew there were lots of people fed up with him surviving so long, and would be using this opportunity to place multiple votes to ensure his departure, so I really should have done something about it. If I'd noticed the press he was getting re stringing Helen along and being really nasty with it, and the extent of Josh's comments on BBLB etc, I probably would have done. I still feel bad that I didn't register my appreciation.:nono:

peachy
26-02-2002, 12:29 PM

Hurrah! I know the answer to this one.

:hello::hello::hello::hello::hello:

Mucho admiration Feefs old chum! Didn't take you long to get a 'handle' or a 'grip' on that one (groan) hahaha!:hello:

Sadly, not only have I visited this site, I have to admit I have also read the attached riveting item re: his dissertation prize!

http://pdmweb.bournemouth.ac.uk/pages/staff/bea/10399.htm

I must admit, I have thought to myself that whilst Elizabeth basked in her tree-hugging 'I want an alcohol free world where everyone runs round naked on a beach, and everyone is equal, free and happy' speil, Paul has actually done something practical about improving the lives of the disabled. Not a word of this to anyone. What a guy!

Any rode up, all that aside, it's your turn to set the question Feefs.:flower:

Feefs
04-03-2002, 02:52 PM
Oh no - the responsibility of posing a question to you lot!

And, I've just read that website properly, and realised that Paul got a BA, not a BEng as I'd assumed, or at least a BSc. All these months and I thought I had an affinity with him because he was a fellow techno person who loved arranging the greek alphabet on paper for reasons other than the study of ancient civilisation! :spin: I must admit, his dissertation did sound a bit like a girl's subject, but ho-hum - I'm sure it did at least involve a few sums, or a class in painting by numbers. I digress ...

Maintaining the practical theme and because I'm not feeling very innovative myself - and as a test to see who really does pay attention ... :conf:

Why did Dean ask BB for a nut?

Romantic Old Bird
04-03-2002, 03:01 PM
Feefs! Behave, thou shalt not cast nasturtions on the lovely Paul Clarke. He has a 2:1 BSc Hons (probably the only thing I really have in common with him) in Product Design Visualisation!

The answer to your question is I believe,
so he could mend the lawn mower, and, you know, mow the lawn, alright?

Feefs
04-03-2002, 04:50 PM
It definitely says on the webpage that he got a BA, not BSc, but it was of course (Hons). Being a saddo, I researched this further. It seems you can do either a BA or BSc in Product Design Visualisation at Bournemouth, depending on what options you take. This is what the website had to say on the subject.

The overall philosophy of the course is to produce graduates who can design and develop well-considered and potentially commercial products.

The attainment of this goal requires the use of creativity and innovation to solve problems whilst addressing the functional, social and economic needs of the market place. The course is offered in two streams: BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons).

The BSc option places more emphasis on the technological area of design. The BA option develops a deeper understanding of the artistic and contextual issues of product design.

The Product Design Course is validated by the Institution of Engineering Designers, allowing continuation to professional qualifications.
In case you think the site got it wrong, here's a full listing of the fun subjects he must have done. As he did a dissertation in his final year, not a group project, he must have done the BA.

Level 1
Design Communications
Materials & Materials Processing 1
Design in Context 1
Applied Science & Technology 1
Design Methods & Projects 1

Level 2
Computers in Design
Materials & Materials Processing 2
Design in Context 2
Applied Science & Technology 2
Design Methods & Projects 2

Industrial Placement - minimum 40 weeks

Level 3
BA Option
Professional Design Practice
Technological Design Studies
Technological Systems & Materials
Dissertation
Individual Project

BSc Option
Professional Design Practice
Technological Design Studies
Group Project
Individual Project
As there is hardly any difference between the BSc and BA I am now comforted by the fact that some of the first and second year subjects must have included a few Greek letters. I also noted the bit on Career Opportunities doesn't list 'object of desire' on award winning reality tv show.

:flower::flower::flower::flower:

BigSister, you are right! Deano said he fancied 'grooving on down' with Jools!

This was in response Helen asking him if he wanted to be on TOTP.

Bad luck Honey, so close. Instinct is everything, reason is nothing!

I think he would be happy to play on any and all of them to be honest!

Over to you BigSister!
