people are turning off because BB is still not getting the message about the likes of Foolio and Tina. In such a depressing time, who wants to tune in to an entertainment show and have these types of people polluting our TVs.

I've always watched the shows avidly since before BB1 but if I was I any night the last week or so, I didnt even bother recording it to catch up. And worst still didnt feel I missed anything by doing that.

Also the lack of live feed didnt help and I hope they admit to that in the end

the second show was up against jonathon ross and the guests he had were very good,also the whole russel nob head thing as well.

We need to write to C4 giving idea's and we need to demand live feed. Also we need the house in a new location and it has to be completely different.... if they want change they have to begin NOW!

Im not suprised i thought the final was s*** lastnight. I never really like Big Brother finals. There always rushed, Davina never seems to be on top form in finals, plus generally not only did the wrong person win! But my favs went out 5th & 4th, then Latoya wasnt even in the final. So crap really.

I actually quite liked this series, it was funny. But was disapointed by the final and result!

That was an OUTRAGE that Verne was 4th. Why were all the Crowd shouting Winner while he was sat in the Chair in 4th place and he was Bookiies favourite to win ????? Ulrika should have gone that 1st Week instead of Lucy !!!!!!!

Absolutely agree. I was in shock! Verne- 4th? Something must have happened, its just not right. If there shouting winner, why didnt they bloody vote for him then! Grr. Yep, the final was ALL wrong lastnight. Was so disapointed.

I was soo happy Verne came 4th. It was an unprdicatble finale, shame no one watched it though.

I don't think C4 need emails, they read the forums they know that we want a total revamp for BB10 and if we don't get it well BB is dead

It just wasn't as exciting. BB needs to change, otherwise the 10th will probably be the last... but that might be a good time to end?

Yeahh i heard they read the forums, well if they do, they are completely thick because they have never changed anything to make the show better. They must have seen the poll on DS sating "Do you want Live Feed Yes or No?? and there was a 94% Yes win. So they have to put it into action, they should see what we post on forums and just go along with it.

The best plan for BB10 would be the US format. We have kinda tested aspects of it in the UK and it will piss some of the fans ff but i'm sure it could win some new fans too.

Its the longest running reality tv show... all the other shows are generally in their 5th year (except for IAC), I would like to see how DOI, SCD and XF fare in another 5-7 years time. It is also the 1st ever reality tv series in the UK to hit the screens, now there is about 7 of them, no wonder people dont watch because its been the same. So we need a huge revamp. But even if it does end at BB10, BB was a success because 10 years is huge for a reality tv series

you know what I've got a few ideas but I've never understood why people should write in their ideas, get them used and not get paid. why should they profit from mine or anyone elses ideas? I never understand why people are willing to give up their ideas for free.

There would used to be a time when there would be a competition and there would be a big reward (still cheaper for the company), but nowadays people are just happy to see it and get nothing else

Looking back at BB9, the ratings werent bad at all. The nomination twist in front of each other (Lisa VS Sara) got about 4.1m.

The problem with BB8 was too many twists. We wanna keep it like BB9, no house next door etc, only twists if they are original.

Exactly. BB9 was a success I think.

BB8 averaged 3.9m without Saturday shows
BB9 averaged 3.6m with Saturday shows.

If you take away the saturday shows during BB9, the average would have been on par with BB8.

I remember all the pre-BB hype back in 2001 with them putting 2 gays in the house for BB2!
The papers said it was a shocka! The public was like "OMFG, 2 gays?!?"

BB10 needs to get that hype again...

You really think its over? BB will be around longer than people think. Just because the ratings are low doesn't mean its "over".

Oh, and the reason that the ratings are down is because of the bloody Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty. That row hangs over BB's head like a bad smell.

Big Brother will never get the ratings it did back in 2006 etc. but I never expected huge ratings and I don't think C4 did either. Big Brother 10 will probably be the last one. :sad:

in BB8 there was too many twists in BB9 there was too little. They need to get the right balance, a big shocking twist every 3 weeks?

fair enough. I just feel they shouldnt profit from other people without paying for it. Why should Endemol and their shareholders made a few more millions without paying for ideas

guess what I did. Although would have been much better if Anouscka hadnt gone in the first week. One of the biggest mistakes ever. She seemed to have it all.

But I'd rather see genuine intelligent people working together and looking after each other than the likes we have now. I also liked BB CH for the same reasons.

On a more serious point though, surely you can see that this confrontational aspect is just not working anymore. I prefer when arguments happen, its not because BB has been "poking them with a stick" for weeks on end or having confrontational people in there that will start a big pile up if someone says "hello" in the wrong way.

In BB1 the reason that argument was so powerful was because it grew naturally. Over weeks we saw what Nick was doing and knew at some stage it would go wrong and sure enough it did and therefore made dramatic viewing. Now they try as hard as possible to create argument and therefore there is no interest in them, as they are a daily event

We weren't expecting much last night, but those ratings were shocking. Even a bog standard highlights show during BB8 and BB9 could manage that.

Hopefully though it's the kick up the backside they need - but unless Endemol can regain C4's full support I don't see how the series can recover, even if they did manage to successfully overhaul the format.
