I moved from a Maisonette, it was horrible.

or a flat on top of a house.

My old house was a house, with a flat above us. I hated it, when he smoked it used to come through the floor... eugh, or you could hear the dog running down the stairs. Now there is no one above us :D

Semi Detached, the house itself is quite different though, the rooms and such are quite different to next door's. It's a lot nicer then my old house.

I live in a cottage now which is detatched. Before that I lived in a first floor flat and then with my family I lived in a detatched farmhouse.

All good.

Hated the flat cos I havent ever been used to have people living near me.
