I live in a town by the sea,my house is between Tesco and the town(which is quite small) but is alright. The transport is crappy, trains only come about once a hour. Lived here all my life and I adore it.

This is the North beach, where the pier and habour is. We also have a South beach but that's really stony. They're currently ruining the habour and planning to build a gazillion apartments

I live in a place called Stoke Newingtion, Best described as a village in the city. Most people know each other and we are a good little community.

We have 2 Church's both over 300 years old, a very old library, 6 classic pubs, a park with tropical birds, deer and goats, Ooo and a victorian castle . We also have a 32 acre Cemetery, where Amy Winehouse filmed her video Back To Black. Our most famous neighbour the one and only Leona Lewis, Her parents are still living here as is her boyfriends family. Some history.. Erm.. The first bomb of WWI was here, Up the road from me. Oh yeah and their is an america style cinama. Here are some pictures of stokey!

Theres probably no way that i could glamorise my area but i must admit.. its an extremley exciting area to live in and the friends are fab of course!

On Facebook they describe Brixton [South London] like this:

Brixton Academy, Ritzy cinema, gun crime, drug dealers on the street, countless number of fried chicken shops - what's not to love about Brixton?

So yeah.. it seems to be the source of all teen gun crime.. and drugs lmao. I live about 5 mins away from the main part of Brixton.. but i live on a quiet road in a terraced house.

Some pics:

I doubt there's alot of pictures of where I live.
Its a few miles out of town, in a hamlet. Thers's a shop, hairdressers, restuarant and a school, and there's a church nearish. My house is like a mile away from the shop, up a big hill :/

My town is currently being made over :)
There has been a complete make over of the whole town funded by tesco's, we have just had a new shopping center built and a brand new arena with a new swimming pool, sports facilities and a theatre. And a new Tesco extra is going to be built soon. Its become a big town now!

There is a rather grim/funny story about that...
As there is many steps leading up to the church it would be difficult to carry up a coffin.... so they crafty people who designed the layout made a back entrance (you drive up a large hill and walk round the side, still entering the front of the chapel), well, a few years ago.. men who were driving the hurse didn't know about the back entrance.... they took the coffin up the steps and droped it around 4 times... (there was no one in the coffin.. LOL).

Ah Tom, Salford Quays
The home to the BEST theatre in the manchester area, I love The Lowry, its been the host to some freaking amazing shows.

I've been on stage in The Lowry. It was with primary school, some competition and forced to go :yuk::blush2:

It was in the sh*t theatre though, not the purple one the red one that seats about 10 people

Doesn't the studio there hold like 200 people?

This is the North beach, where the pier and habour is. We also have a South beach but that's really stony. They're currently ruining the habour and planning to build a gazillion apartments

oooo! That's awesome, that will make Manchester look great. Its a stunning theatre, and has the biggest stage in the UK outside of London!
