MSN Halp?

I keep trying to download the new Live Messenger to my laptop and it won't work for no particular reason. Is there another form of MSN i can get that isn't necessarily WLM8?

i had same prob , infact i thought when i downloded the new msn it was an old version i was like wtf :P
but i had download messanger plus lol
but my brother fixed it, you have go on a diff site i think
