i dont i think they are all idiots regardless of which party they are in
Conservative.
only because I detest Gordon Brown and think he is an emabarrasment to the country.
I voted Liberal in the last local election, I want to vote Labour in the General election but I wont be doing that until Gordon is taken from his position. Atm, The Labour party is doing the opposite of what they were created for! The party was created for the working class, and at the moment they are giving our jobs away to foreigners and lying to us!
I don't want to vote Conservative, but if change doesn't come soon it's my only choice.

Its only ever been Labour for me, a very much underated government too, they aren't as bad as people try to make out.
If Labour ever went really bad I would consider supporting the Liberal Democrats but never the conservatives. The country would be awful under the Conservatives

Conservatives i think.
I like all the protesting at the moment
Conservative- but before voting for them I wish ex-labour voters would know what they are about. If you used to vote labour but will vote Conservative this year just because they're the only other ones you can vote for then I suggest you rethink your decision.
Labour = helps those less well off by taxing middle and upper classes
Conservative = thinks middle/upper classes shouldn't pay for lower/working class

Not quite how I would have put it- Labour (their intention is to) help people less well off to have the same opportunies as those who are more privileged.
Conservatives- have no bloody idea what enabling social mobility means or what its like for people from deprived backgrounds to get anywhere in this world and couldnt really give two *****!

The conservatives did pull Britain out of the doon n gloom of the dark 1970s... Britain was broke! Hangover from the swinging 60s as some say, lol.
Right now the conservatives are not ready to govern.. 1997 was truely a landslide and the conservatives are still under the rubble.

But they are going to win the next election purely because ill informed voters will vote for them thinking everything is going to be the same, when really they're in for a wake up call and might as well sign a contract saying "ruin my life".
By the way I didn't mean I'd vote for them, although I would benefit more but in the bigger picture its just not right. Its just the way I've phrased that.

you would not be attacked for voting against Corrupt Brown
you do not have to share it with you college chums.
New Labour is New Conservative
And those 4 in the House of Lords are typical

that is Gordon Corrupt Brown.
They are still there
They should be removed fast.

Force you to Vote for something

And for those that Hate the major Political people

I must admit, I don't follow politics as much as I should, I try and keep up but considering I know as much as the average citizen of the country. As far as I know Gordon has got a position he hasn't earned, I hope we get a vote too choose our prime minister if labour remains in charge. He is the wrong image for the party... and he has no idea what he is doing!

That Reporter hired a India digger and dug up

Pretty much my opinion as it stands.
However, we just don't have enough choice and although we claim the UK to be a multiparty system, it seems to be heading towards a two-party system and just that. The Lib Dems exist but just don't have a chance of being elected. It may become almost rigid like we see in the US with the Democrats/Republicans. I follow politics but don't really support a party - more individual policies, which isn't that useful because it all too often turns into a slanging match between the governing party and the opposition. Basically as I said before, we need more choice.

Can't say how I would vote as of this time . I can say how I have voted in the past however.......First half of my voting life I voted "Conservative". Second half of my voting life I voted "Labour". Never voted Lib dem probably never will.
Since the mid 80's Thatcherism and all that I have hated the conservatives and think under Cameron the Tories are exactly the same with the same policies that create mass unemployment even on top of the unemployment we now are heading for.
The problem with "New Labour" is that they have turned out to be more like "New conservative". As I hate conservative desrtuctive policies this leaves me with a voting dilema....
Like the Tories Labour are fixated with the private sector being some sort of majic bullet of efficiency..In fact in the main they are money grabbing middle men laughing all the way to the bank while paying low wages....
Another thing I hate about so called new Labour is their constant abilty to try and control peoples lives for them.....Nanny state mentality control freakism. Far too many Labour MPs are religious control freaks.....Blair the preacher. Brown a religous upbringing which when translated means he was brainwashed as a child.....
If I am alive at the next General election chances are I will not vote for any of the decrepid two faced lying hypocrites on offer....

NONE!
Why?
Because the only two parties with any chance of getting into power are both controlled by the same ruling elite.
A 2 party system like the system we have in the UK and the USA are not a democracy they are a method of allowing the ruling elite to give us the illusion of democracy while they keep hold of power.
You'll notice that every 2 or 3 terms there'll be a big swing from one side to the other. This is predictable. The next winner will promise to work for the people but after a while the people will realise that the government is not working for the people but is instead working for the ruling elite.
This results in the opposing party getting into power.
This is why we've had a swing from Thatcher to Blair and a forthcoming swing to Cameron.
Similarly in the USA we had a swing from Reagan to Clinton to Bush and now to Obama.
As long as the 2 party system continues the longer the ordinary person (That's you and me ) won't have any real political power.
The system needs changing but as long as people continue to vote they are continuing to put faith in the system.
Until the ballot paper has an option for 'none of the above' The only way to protest is to stop voting altogether.
The only way that the system will be reformed is when the public show a loss in confidence in the current system.
So don't vote for the lesser of two evils. Only vote for what you are truly confident in.
Have fun!!

It is dumb. But unfortunately that's the way the system works.
Without debt there wouldn't be any money in circulation and no one would have any money to spend. Then the economy would really collapse.
Don't blame Bottler Brown, blame the bankers who introduced Fractional Reserve Banking and Interest.
We have a monetary system which works on debt. Without debt we are stuffed. It shouldn't be like that!!!!

Indeed!!!
But we'll NEVER get more choice while the current system remains in place.
Even those MPs that mean well and want to really help the people are stuck with voting on legislation that toes the party line. It's very rare there is a free vote in parliament where they got to vote on what *they* feel rather than what the party wants.
People have to stop voting to force the country to wake up and debate and implement a better system.
As long as people keep voting nothing will change.

You are not understanding how it works in practise.
Sure, of course anyone can start a political party, but you try it?
In practise democracy is only an illusion. It's not a matter of people voting with guns to their head. It requires the resources of the media and millions of £££££ to be a party that has even a 10th of a chance of succeeding.
It's not a case of whether you have a vote or not, it's case of what choice you are given.
The limited choice of candidates for primeminister you get to vote for is heavily vetted well before you even get chance to put your X on the paper. That is NOT a demcoracy.
If you think the UK is a democracy you are fooling yourself. We have a parliamentary system.
A democracy is a system when anyone get's an equal chance of success
