Heard this on the news, my friends and the internet, apparently tomorrow loads of towns will wake up to mad dangerous weather and Surrey is going to be hit the worst (where i live), the news said many schools will be closed, i doubt mine will, even if the school was on fire, we would still go in because my school thinks they are different than every other school in the UK. On the weather website, under Surrey it says "Take Action, Sever Weather Coming"..... anyone think their schools will be closed??

When was it that Britain suddenly considered anything more than half an inch of snow "heavy" with the country grounding to a halt at the first sight of a snow flake?

Well, I can still see the grass through the snow..
So let's say here there's about.. half an inch to an inch? xD
That's just looking out my window :3
Mum said the road is covered! School buses are still running though
ARGHH! I hate snow!
There is about an inch, but thats enough to completely ruin everything, I hope the gritters have been out. I cant tell because im not on a main road, but if they havent all hell will break loose. Last time there was no gritters it took me 3 hours to get to college.

That's exactly what my mum said! I do sort of agree though I mean countrys like New York get a bit of snow and they can cope with it easily, but this country panic like lunatics.

Xander

LOL exactly, its amazing at how much people are panicking, its only really a small amount of snow compared to other countries where they put up with this much of snow for alot of the time, still everyone goes to school and gets on with it as normal, here everything comes to a stand still. :|
