Well, yesterday i downloaded the samsung pc studio software for my computer, at the end of the download it asked me to restart comp. So i did.. When i turned the computer back on there was a white screen for a minute or two and all of my documents were gone. I went into the recycling bin, and only SOME of the documants were there, i restored them and there was hardly anything in there, just pictures. All of my mums college files have gone! Does anyone know where i can get them back? I have searched on the search box and it comes up with the folder, when i click on it, it says it cannot be found. please help

I think that if they ain't there then there permanantly gone, but maybe check around all of my computer, somethings may have moved into shared documents etc.

Go on "Accessories" and then go on "System Restore" and Restore it to a Previous day.

Restore doesn't restore your files I don't think?

On mine it says it doesn't effect your files :\

That means if you have created a file that day and have gto restore it the file will still be there. It should restore the files.

It was the download that messed everything up so if he does the Restore then it will remove the program (the problem) and he will get all his files.
