Alright, so I generally never ask any advice here because I don't like to expose personal stuff but right now, I had to ask to people away from everything.

So basically today at University, I've had the results of the first semester exams. Nothing wrong yet but here's the deal: I finished 2nd out of 35.
The thing is, the first one is a complete chav, from head to toes and is there like 3 days a week.

Anyway, I'm quite a competitive person in sports and stuff like that but not in school, like I don't mind which place I am, school isn't a competition.

OK you'll tell me being 2nd is awesome but I am mad because he is first ! I think that was terribly unfair.

I basically can't show it in front of people and I can't even talk about it because people would think I'm such an asshole.

So what should I do ?

LOL! I am kidding! In High School, I had his classmate Stephane Eckel, and he was really infuriating. Whenever we had exams, he always got the top grade, no matter what. And the funny think is, he wasnt even geeky or nothing. He would miss homeworks, always asking to go play football instead of studying. HE just assimilated the lessons quicker than anyone. Some people are just like that. But it was cool, becasue I liked him and he was a good friend, and I always cussed him out after his grades!

I dont mean to be rude Remy but theres not much else you can do :\ It must be frustrating though.

You're right. I know I will forget it in a week time but it's so frustrating to see that a guy who's barely there could beat me at it.
I hate to feel this way, it's so not me to be jealous for school.

I had that in school a guy that was a proper pikey, he got like 4 A's in gcse...

was kinda funny and anoying but ohh well its not too bad some people are just generally smart when its needed.

I see that its frustrating but he must just be naturally bright,theres nothing wrong with beign competative if you use it to better yourself.

You never know, he might secretely work really really hard and he might be one of those people that's just naturally clever, I wouldn't beat yourself up about it there's not a lot you can do..

Remy, i do find that post very steiotypical. Just because somebody has the appearence of a Chav, does not mean they are not clever. I think he must have just been doing some extra studying here and there. And well done on getting second :xyxwave:

Don't worry, to be honest second is really good. Well done.
On the other hand, I am someone who probably sounds really chavvy to you, but my IQ is 156, so it could be he's a naturaly clever person. (I seem to fit into the person who got higher than you's description perfectly).

Just because he got a higher score than you, doesn't mean that he's more employable. Employers might see his 'chavvy' looks and refuse to employ him. You probably have more of a personality and better dress sense than him.

Yeahh i have a friend who in 17 and people might think is a chav, he got 4 A*, 3 A's and all the rest B's... compare that to me.... Omgg in my mocks i only passed 5 out of 11 subjects.

In my Area a Chav is someone who typically lives on a council estate, not very well educated, abit like Vicky Pollard.

A pikey is basically a gypo.
