BIG Brother winner Nadia’s singing career has gone pop — three days after her debut single was released.
Nadia shifted fewer than 800 COPIES of tacky dance single A Little Bit Of Action in its first two days.
Fans rallied yesterday to ramp up sales to 1,800. But it meant sex swap “star” Nadia — who used to be a man — was only lifted from a provisional No32 to a likely 22 in Sunday’s chart.
Last night 27-year-old Nadia’s spokesman said: “She’s got loads more TV and radio to do this week and there’s still three days of sales left. It’s too early to predict the final position.”
But the so-called Portugeezer’s promotional appearances have been beset by problems.
On GMTV yesterday, a technician bumbled in front of the camera and obscured Nadia as she belted out the song’s big climax.
And her launch last weekend was eclipsed by her own bottom — London’s G.A.Y clubbers were more interested in a fox tail dangling from her leather basque.
Band Aid 20’s Do They Know It’s Christmas? is a cert for No1 with sales of 120,000-plus.
Six other new entries, including Natasha Bedingfield, are also ahead of Nadia. The former bank girl was hoping for chart success after a run of bad luck.
Love-rat Ricardo Camcho, 25, who took Nadia’s virginity, sold their bedroom secrets.
She dumped him. Then her past as a hooker — to pay for her sex swap — was exposed.
