Mickey Rouke
is going , thats good.

SkyNews Live as they go in from 4:30PM

The BBC does not have the guts to show it live
so they show it 8-9PM BBC2
then 9-10pm BBC1. Tonight in Edited format.

SkyNews
gets the best interviews as they go in.
In my view.

I was going to watch E! but my Sky isn't working properly. Freeview is fine though so Sky News it is.

M X

So what time is Bafta's in real time and the Grammy's in real time?

Yes I will have E
on as well
but they do not start Live Location until 5:15 PM,
keeping costs down I guess.

They start going in from 4:30pm.

Do you know what time the Grammy's is actually happening?

JOSHUAH!
08-02-2009, 04:10 PM
I think its on BBC2 at like 8:00 until 9:00, then it moves onto BBC1 from 9:00 till 10:00...

The Bafta's start recording at 6pm , i think.

You know if you have a Sky Account
you can watch SkyNews online free.

On the First post
I posted the BBC times it is shown in edited format.

Update 4:30PM
Sky Reports Live from Covent Garden
and some Rain
typical luck , I guess.

Sky has a two reporters
at each end
clever idea, again.

Callum

I might watch E!'s coverage, they have Alesha Dixon and Steve Jones presenting.

Thats true I am watching 3 channels at once.

At least they are doing what SkyNews does
2 Reporters one each end.

They have a 20mins or so delay
sent back to America etc.

SkyNews
is the best of them all.

BBC ,arrogant as hell,
telling Danny Boyd that there News Channel is going around the World.
What a Ponce thing to tell us here in the UK.

I just noticed on the BBC live feed
a shot of Steve Jones talking to a star (real time)
but on E he was chatting to the camera.

I think Orange must be well happy with the rain
as all those free brollys advertising Orange on the BBC.

for breakfast, let alone speech.

On the Sky interview
he said he may be in the Iron Man 2 film.
In talks on that etc.

E is now showing repeat clips

Good to see Actor /Singer Jim Sturgess
he was the lead in that great Beatles Music Film
Across The Universe
great on BluRay.

BBC3 has a 30min roundup of interviews

So this is a star studded award show! iwasnt expecting that.

Spike
08-02-2009, 08:13 PM
Slumdog Millionaire didn't deserve that award, I have a bad feeling that it will win most if not everything it is up for

M X
08-02-2009, 08:17 PM
Slumdog Millonaire was a fantastic film, no doubt one of the best of '08 and deserves to win a lot. I would have like to have seen Changelling or Dark Knight win for sound.

M X
08-02-2009, 08:19 PM
I have a feeling production design/make-up and hair will be the only award won for CCOBB.

arista

Good Job
Kevin Bishop is not there
the one who went crazy on the TV awards on ITV2.

As Slumdog may Sweep the board

He would be shouting 'Fix'

I dont even think its a theatre caliber movie to be honest. Its one of those feel good simple films that should go straight to video.

Maybe due to it being Filmed in Mumbia
before the Terror gang.

It is getting a Bigger Push than most movies.

And it is Sweeping the board.

I know right! I watched it, and I thought, are you kidding me? this is the movie everyone say is great? There is nothing special about it, whatsoever. And I seen most o the big movies award worthy, they were all pretty special in their own way, but Slumdog millionaire? Nothing! CHeesy as hell, average acting at best.

Yeah I know, people are raving about it, I personally don't see what's so special about it. I could name hundreds of films better than it.

This award show is so boring!! Even the american actors, when they come to british awards, they feel like they have to tone everything down and act boring! Why is that? Is it in the air, because of the weather or something?

Callum
08-02-2009, 09:01 PM
I'm hoping Kate Winslet wins best actress, she was what kept me watching Revolutionary Road, she was brilliant in it. Also hoping Brad Pitt wins best actor but it'll probably be Dev Patel. :bored:

LOL, yeah the ending was aggravating, I agree. I hope it wins something too, it was a nice film, but it'll probably be over shadowed by Slumdog Millionaire like the other nominees.
