Hello, and welcome to the fourth live show that TiBB has to offer, this show is called VISUAL IDOL. As most of you well know, last week, we said goodbye to DOUBLETROUBLE, in our third elimination of the series. Leaving Sam! The only boy left Tonight its just the same as the contestants pieces of work will be shown and the members vote to save, and the two or more members with the least amount of votes will be in the, VISUAL IDOL SHOWDOWN and the judges decide who stays and who goes out of the bottom acts. In the event of a tie, the public votes will decide who stays and who goes.

Tonights theme is Opposite of you.

” For my entry this week, I started off taking a photo of me looking in the mirror. I then put all things that are the opposite of me, and my personality, into the mirror. In the mirror, is a glamour model (which I’m not xD), fire (I’m cool!), cats (dogs), baby (grown up), big yawn (I’m interesting!), wilted flower (happy person!), and magazines (I am the total opposite of what they tell you to be in magazines). For colour, I added pink over the ‘me’ side, which is my favourite colour, and I added green and red over the opposite side, as this stands for an envious and angry person. It might not look like a mirror, I couldn’t get it to look like one :)”

Very nice entry once again this week, you've got a real talent using Photoshop. I love the writing which is backwards on the 'oppisite' side of the entry.

Looking at it in more detail, I really like the idea of having you in the mirror and then the oppisite things next to you. Its a shame we didn't have a better angle so we could see the mirror, but nevermind. The colours and editing you've done on PS has worked well, the blending is fab, as is the colours you've used to brighten the whole thing up.

If you're here next week which I hope you are, I think you should just keep on going, you have good clear ideas in this competition and you're very good.

“ This week the theme was Opposite of You. I started off staight away by taking a piture of myself trying to look like the skanky girls at my school. My proper idea was to dress up all emoish/gothic the next day but i began to feel really ill. So i decided to make it half skanky but more emoish/gothic/whatever. Sorry if its not so good this week, i just havent been feeling well. x”

Still the same style coming from you in terms of it looks a little effortless. I am sorry if you've been ill so this week I'll let it pass.

As for the entry, its interesting but very simple as your entries have been. I like the idea, its funny and you do have a funny side to most of your entries which is always a good thing!
The black and red is obviously to do with you're theme. I think the picture could of been a bit bigger and not so harsh in terms of being so dark.

Theres not much more I can say. I think if you're here next week and you're well by then, really try and put some effort in. I do believe you're trying but your entries aren't consistent to the standard of the others, you should maybe look at peoples past entries and look at how they design each entry, just for idea's.

Welldone for trying while being unwell though.

” This week i took a small number of pics and put them together in a collage. The pics are all made up of things that are not me. The first row of pictures is a bottle with alchol this is to show that i will not become an alcholic as i know how it effects people health wise and mental wise. The 2nd row is to show that i will not kill. Ive shown this by taking pictures of guns and a knife. The 3rd row is to show that i will not smoke as it is one of the things i hate the most. These are all opposites of what i am.”

Surprising entry, as you mentioned to me, you think its a little worse than you're entries from last week and the weeks before. I think this week the theme has been quite hard..not for everybody, but certainly for one or two of you.

The blue which is used is a nice link to how you don't like those things, as I find blue a very cold colour and you've obviously used it to 'distance' yourself from these pictures.

I hope you're here next week Christina, you've been very consistent each week, and I just think this week its a mix of not having enough time and also struggling with the actual theme.

The picture as you said is similar to 'You' however I'm glad you kept the colours and computer type graphics to a minimal. The blending is a lot better this week, however I do feel the actual photo of you looks a bit 'grainy' and not very clear.

I know you've struggled this week and I have to say, this one is very good and you tried you're best, and I think we can see that.

I wouldn't really make any changes except make the picture of you a bit more clear. If you're here next week think carefully about the theme and how you're going to go about it. You've had a good mix of computer and photography elements to all you're pictures which is very good.

Good entry this week, I loved you're entry last week and I firstly have to admit that tonights isn't that great.

I think its quirky, yes. The trampoline idea is interesting and unique so welldone on that. The blending is amazing once again, however the photos in the bottom were a bit hard so see at first, maybe because they are so blended within the background? Obviously I could see them, but I just think they could of stood out a bit more if they were placed more in the middle.

Also I love the font you picked for the writing with a nice complimentary colour.

You've been consistent in every week of this show Sam and I really do mean it when I say good luck. You're very good on photoshop as is Nicky and you are a real contender for the winner of this show.

Firstly, sorry I wasn't here on time, I've had a few matters coming up and my mind was so away, I'd forgotten about this.

Nicky - Fantastic piece, love how you used a mirror to reflect the opposite of you, really clever idea. I love the colours used too and the backwards text really makes it special.

Ninastar - Funnily enough, I think this is your best piece yet LOL, I like your use of colours to represent the emoness, I could have done with some more emo font though and maybe of it splattered across the piece.

Christina - I really like this now that I've read the description, I like the use of negative here, but maybe another effect could have portaryed it better.

Kornetto - Honestly, I don't see opposite here, perhaps because the picture quality is so low. I can't really see anything here, which is a huge shame :(

Sam! - Interesting piece, love the use of colour which connotates sadness and shyness. Again, your style is very distinctive of you and it works every time. Would have liked to have seen the trampoline more however.

This is interesting, but I don't really get it? I'm sorry you have been ill, but you have to stop making excuses. Just blather on about how it relates to the piece and i'll be like "aaah, yeah". I don't really know what to say, tbh. The colours are good, though. And your paint skilzzz are getting significantly better

Hmm, this feels a bit cold to me. It doesn't really stand out in the way it should, though the idea is clever. I suppose this weeks theme was hard, but i don't find this that remeberable I'm afraid

Good editing skils this week, Icecream! (hahah, i'm so witty) The idea is good, but the only thing i'd improve is the colours, it's very... red. If you have photoshop just go to colour balance and even it out a bit :)

OOH i LOVE the idea, it's so origininal and I love the trampoline significance, and the blue tonal areas. Though it's not amazingly photoshopped it still is really good, and I am very impressed :)
