Hey, thought i'd start my own little book here. I was going to write this in my English class when i was in school, but my teacher said it wasn't allowed to be read out for some reason
I'll share it with you, and i'll carry it on lol.

Satanic!

Chapter 1

The moon beamed down on the little town of Ground Lower Standish on the cold day in January. The cold air would pierce anyone that walked through it. Ben had been working late, his family needed the money - "Of course we need the money, she wants to go on holiday this year, and i said we could. Stupid me, we all know that you can't afford it" Ben kept telling himself this, he'd promised to take his girlfriend and children on holiday - knowing that he was short on money.

He'd got a job to do, a little family wanted him to build a house on some spare land in the middle of the town. From what Ben could see, it would be the perfect place to start a family - they seemed rich and appeared to be the perfect family. The "Father" of the family had black hair with a hint of grey in it. His nose was fairly large, and was slightly bent at the end. He had dark eye's which always made him look evil. The "Mother" of the family was beautiful. She had shoulder length blonde curly hair which was always curled to perfection, and blue eye's. He hadn't seen the children yet.

Ben had been working on this job for a week now. He wanted to get it done soon. So he decided to stay behind - stupid, but it seemed right at the time. Ben's nose was so cold he couldn't feel it any more. It freezing outside, and the only thing that kept out there was the fact that it would please his family later on in the year. As Ben began laying down some bricks he decided that this would be his last few of the day, then he'd be off home for the nice warm meal waiting for him. Ben moved towards the terrain of the new house and placed the sack of bricks on it, but suddenly - BRUSTLE!

Ben heard a sound coming from the tree's. The coldness made him panic even more. The chill running down his spine made him think that it wasn't just him. It was dark, and there was something out there. BRUSTLE!. Ben was afraid, and it was very rare that he had been before. He grabbed the shovel near by and walked slowly towards the tree's at the back of the land. He could hear the crunching of the frozen grass as he moved slowly towards the trees. His heart pounding against his chest, and his head in a whirlwind - this is like the crap you see in the movies, and the victim always checks out a strange noise. As Ben arrived near the trees he stopped still - no sound at all. As he moved his head back and forth he heard a clatter behind him, he turned and was stunned with what he saw.

Little girls - three of them. They was wearing old fashioned clothing and were playing a game. They were all sat down on the floor near the newly built terrain. The image seemed to settle Ben a little more, but as he moved a little closer, he saw the the girls...they...were...transparent. The view made Ben stop in his tracks. Okay...it's the cold weather - let it go Ben he kept telling himself. As he closed his eye's he could hear nothing, the only thing that felt real was the coldness of the night. Ben began to slowly open his eye's again - as he did he was shocked to find that all girls were now in front of him and staring at him. "Are you my Mummy?" one said to him. Her worried voice startled Ben, they all began to ask the same question. Ben looked at all their faces as the three girls began to cry. As they did, the tears of blood tricked down their face. "What the hell is this?" he shouted. The three girls, still crying, began to walk towards Ben. He began to back away from the girls when he felt something touch his shoulder. He was afraid to see what it was, his head turned around slightly and his eye's began to become wide again. A woman stood behind him, just like the girls, she was transparent. The only thing that stood out about her was her long dress. She had a wound in her stomach, she was bleeding. The woman opened her mouth to reveal a set of yellow teeth - she breathed heavily as she spoke "Get off my Land!" she said. Ben looked back at the girls who were now coming closer, their cries still very loud. Ben got to his feet and began to run towards his car. He didn't care about his equipment, or about getting the job done.

He could still hear the girls crying as he started to reach his car. He shaked as he entered the car - something was on that land...something didn't want him there. The car started and Ben drove away from the land as fast as he could - he may be stopped by police, but Ben didn't care, he just wanted to get away from that job. For a moment Ben sat and thought - maybe i had a lucky escape...because i'm never going back on that land again...think of the poor family that will be living on it by the summer. It was a scary thought...but Ben knew that one thing was for sure - he'd be better off out of it.

Hope you enjoyed that first Chapter. The second one will be out soon :)

Chapter 2

The Pub was awfully quiet. It's tavern-style make-over had actually turned out for the worst. Linda remembered a time when she'd come into this lovely little pub years ago. It was always so busy. The bar staff seemed to be a little quieter than the last people who'd worked here before - but they were nice. Linda took a small drink of her champaigne and waited for her darling husband to turn up. As she waited for him, she looked around the place which had been her local for many years. It's old wooden furniture made it look older than it actually was. The enterance was to the left hand side of where Linda sat. It was quite drafty near the door, but Linda liked being somewhere near the exit. Across from her was a man, he'd been in the pub before. His head stuck in a newspaper as it always was. He always wore a berret-style hat and wore glassed. It was strange, but Linda thought of him as a respectful old man - yet from what she'd heard, he was only 36.

The door to the far right opened and Linda's husband appeared. His name was Ian, and he was Linda's true love - despite the fact that he irritated her at times. His small frame made Linda wonder why her kids had turned out rather tall. She wasn't tall and neither was he. He sat down with and sighed. "So, here's to our new home" he said gently as he raised his glass of larger in the air. Linda smiled and raised hers too. As she drank some more, she thought about the house which she soon would call home - was it in the right place? It's right near her Mother's home; she'd be round everday with that little white dog of hers. As Linda started to think more, the pub doors swung open and a young man appeared in the doorway. He seemed frightened.

Linda recognised the man immediatly - it was Ben, the builder. He was very pale and was sweating, which was very unsual for him. "Mr and Mrs Banks? L-listen...it's important...listen..." Linda looked at Ben with a slight shocked look on her face "What's wrong Ben?" she spoke softly. She caught a glimpse of her husband - who had a slight mocking grin on his face. "The...house...i c - can't go to it anymore! L - little girls...crying..." As he spoke, Linda felt a hint of unrealism hit her. "I told you we shouldn't of hired the kids - they drink on the job. Go home son and we'll get someone else to do the job" said Ian. Linda didn't understand - Ben seemed to be so calm and cool, very pleasant with her. Ben looked at Ian with a huge rush of fury on his face "That land is haunted, i'm telling you. There is something wrong...won't you listen to me?". As Ben spoke, Ian burst into a fit of laughter. His face seemed to become a little larger than usual. Linda looked around as the small pub members looked on with a slight smile on their faces. "Mrs Banks, you'll understand, tell him that i'm telling truth" said Ben. Ian stood up and told Ben to leave. Ben's face dropped as he turned around to leave the pub. He caught Linda's eye's before he left - the disappointed look made Linda feel really guilty that she didn't believe him - but it did sound stupid. Linda pulled her gaze away from Ben and took another sip of her drink - as she looked back he had gone.

"I told you; no more kids" said Ian inconsiderably. Linda looked at Ian and smiled "Yeah - no more kids".

Chapter 3 coming soon

Chapter 3

7 Months later...

The house was amazing. It was surrounded by acres of wood and tree's. All alone it stood, the place seemed so alive. The house was like a doll house, the house which you see in your dreams. It was very small and pretty. There were three windows, one was to the right, the other to the left of the front of the house. The third was right next to the door in the center of the front. Linda held her baby in her hands and walked slowly up the driveway. Once she reached the white enterance door, she could no longer see the road, the tree's loomed over the house, as if they were magnetic towards it. As the peace and quiet began to make Linda feel like she was dreaming, she opened the front door and was greeted by....

...screaming children. Her two sons running around the hallway with swords and hook. One proberly pretending to be Peter Pan and the other Captain Hook. The hallway was small, it had wooden floors and white and grey wallpaper. The hallway seemed quite empty for Linda's liking, it'd be better if it was filled with pictures and other fancy decorations. She placed her bag on the floor and walked towards the right. To the right was the kitchen, all in white and the sun brightly shining through the window. This was Linda's favourite part of the house, it was exactly how she wanted it. The marble counter's seemed to elegant in the sunshine. She found that a high chair was already layed out for her. She placed little baby Philip in the high chair and gave him his bottle. Linda turned and looked around the house; it seemed so nice, everyone would agree. She began working straight away, she grabbed a spare piece of cloth and began tidying the kitchen a bit. Linda began opening the cupboards for an idea of where to store everything. She noticed that the cupboards where brand new, much better than her old home. As she opened a cupboard she came she saw a large book in the left hand side of the cupboard. Linda thought it was strange that it was there - no furniture had arrived yet. She grabbed the book and placed it on the counter. It's old, musty smell made Linda fell a little anxious. It was fairly large, and had nothing the front. If her mother was here, she'd say it was a book from "her day".

Linda opened the book slowly, trying not to mess the counter's up. Although the book wasn't dirty, Linda always tried to be careful. She came across the first page, it's old pages seemed to be very worn. Linda saw little writing in the corner of the first page. It was so tiny that anyone with bad eye sight would struggle to read it. Linda began to read out loud "An easy way to skin tresspassers". Linda read the line several times before she realised what it was saying. "Skin tresspassers?" she repeated. Linda felt a sudden rush of fear come over her. Whoever's book this was, they weren't nice people. Linda closed the book and turned to place it back in the cupboard. As she placed it slowly back a voice came behind her "Pretty weird huh?". The deep voice sounded familiar to Linda. She turned and there he stood. Her beloved husband - Ian. "Found that in the back. I just shoved it in the cupboard." he said quietly. Linda knew her husband didn't get spooked easily, yet he was showing signs of being quite startled by what he'd found. Before Linda could reply, he spoke again "It could mean animals. It was a farmer's land before we moved here." The reassuring words made Linda feel a little at ease - yet she still couldn't understand why "skinning tresspassers" would do anyone any good - but then again Linda had always find it hard to understand why anyone could kill an animal. "I'm going to continue to clean up in here. Take that...book away please" she said as she began to clean up the place.

The night seemed to come quicker than ever, and the darkness covered the house. The outside light was brightly shining, it was the only light that was visible - other than the street lamps, but they weren't as bright as they used to be. Linda and her husband sat watching TV. Their furniture had arrived earlier in the afternoon. It felt more like home now, seeing the pictures of the family up against the pale cream wall. The living room was possibly the biggest room in the house. It had white carpets and a large window at the front. The room was now filled with familiar furniture. The TV was near the back of the living room, above it was several pictures. At the side of the window was the black leather sofa and a small lamp to the side. As Linda sat watching the Exorcist with her husband, she suddenly remembered what Ben had told her 7 months ago. About there being "something" on this land. Something didn't seem right to Linda. First the warning from Ben, now a mysterious book, and now they're watching the Exorcist. This couldn't be right. "I'm tired now, lets go to bed" said Linda as the film came to a close. Ian looked at her - that old forcing smile he always did when he was secretly annoyed. They both got to their feet and closed out the lights. Linda settled down for the night - her mind still racing with thoughts. What is with that book? I haven't looked at it proper yet. Linda had only seen the first few pages, nothing more. Her mind raced away...as did her eye's as she drifted off to a deep sleep.

Quite a boring chapter this, the next one is where it all kicks off. So keep watching

Sorry for the...long wait LMAO! I've been busy, but i'm going to fully continue this :)

Chapter 4

The sun shone straight through the window of Linda and Ian's bedroom. It's brightness could blind someone if they looked directly at it - It was morning. As Linda woke up, the thoughts of the book and her new home pushed firmly to the back of her mind, she saw the sun shining down. It was like a spotlight, directly on her bed. It made Linda feel safe, a sudden rush of safety rushed through her stomach. Why am i feeling safe? Why shouldn't you be?. Linda had never been a believer of Fortune tellers or people that could see the future, but she always had some sort of warning when something was coming. The light faded away as the sun went behind a cloud. Linda's rush of safety left her, leaving her concerned and worried.

It was a Sunday, and Linda had lots of things to do. She had to visit her Mother, who was living just around the corner. She had to drop off to the supermarket to collect some things for the new house as well. As Linda sat alone in her glistening silent kitchen she looked towards to doorway and saw - the kids!. No doubt about it, Linda would be taking the kids with her to the supermarket. "Right boys, lets get dressed to go to the supermarket" she said trying to sound enthusiastic. As Linda grabbed her coat and car keys, she looked out towards the back door - it was open. Linda hadn't heard it open, she hadn't seen anyone leave either. As she walked towards the door, she grabbed the handle. A cold chill ran through Linda, this made her shiver. At first Linda thought that maybe the cold wind made her shiver - it wasn't. As she was about to shut the door a voice came behind her "Don't shut that!". Linda turned and saw her husband, Ian stood behind her smiling. "I'm fencing off the back garden, remember?" Linda thought back to late last night - he was right. Linda gave her husband a big hug - she felt safe again. Linda gave him a kiss and headed outside with the kids and got into the car. What is with me?! Why am i so nervous like this?. Linda knew the answer...but she refused to tell her mind why.

Ian had heard the car pull away. He was so happy with the new home that he wanted to make things just right. He began laying down some plants which his Dad had given him - they may be bad, but he'll kill me if i don't use them. Ian got down to work, time passed so quickly. He was convinced that Linda and the kids would be back at 2:00pm, it was now 1:15pm. Ian awaited to hear the sound of screaming kids and a stressed out wife at the front door - not back yet!. As Ian sat in the garden for a moment - he heard it! He heard a child laughing from inside the house. He rushed inside to greet the family, as he reached to front door there was nothing there. Ian walked to the window and looked outside, Linda's car was not back yet. Ian looked around, he heard a child laughing, he wasn't going crazy. Ian moved slowly around the hallway, as he looked towards the doorway to the living room, he saw...well...what did he see? Ian wiped his eye's and fixed his gaze on the ghostly little girl standing in the living room doorway. Her eye's blue and her body transparent. Ian went numb, he didn't know whether to run and hide or whether to speak. "You've been a bad man" said the child. Ian looked at it carefully, it's body...transparent. It did just speak, he was sure of it. Ian walked foward slowly, the little girl smiled at him. "What did you say?" said Ian, trembling as he said it. The little girl head moved to the left, it was looking at something. As Ian followed it's direction outside, he saw Linda's car pull up on the driveway. Ian felt a sigh of relief rush through him. He looked back at the child - she was gone!

Next chapter is when more ghosts show up.
