Were in your close family and raped an adult: Again, No. I would probably not want to speak to them, but i would not want them killed
Raped an adult in your close family: Yes, i would want them to be killed slowly and painfully
were mentally ill and raped an adult: No, i think they shouls definately be locked up in a mental home, but no. If they cannot control what they are doing, then they probably did not mean it
Were sane and raped a child: 100% yes, it is sick and twisted
Were mentally ill and raped a child: Yes, even if they cannot control wat they do. Unless they are 100% unable to control anything, they should be killed humanely anway
Were a person in your close family and raped a child: Yes, it is a horrible thing to do, especialy to a child, no matter ow close to them you are
Raped a child in your close family: Yes. I would probably get there first, and i would want to see them urt, and tortured

Rape is worse than murder: I do think it is, if it is a quick murder and they do not know what is going on. With rape it is sick and you cannot do anything about it in some cases

oh and rape is worse than murder because "if it;s quick they don't know what is going on"?!?! And what about the mental torment that their family's have to live with for the rest of their lives. What about the fact that they can not over come it, their life has been snatched from them. Many rape victims have gotten over it and gone on to live happy lives. Murder victims don't even get a chance at it.

But u have to take into account everything. U would much rather have your life taken from you, never to see your loved ones again, so many things you never got to accomplish, then endure one night of torture for you do seek help with and move on to better things.

I agree with Tom, they should live with what they have done forever. But we need longer sentances in this country we are too kind, 20 years is not enough for sick people. But to be fair if ANYONE touched my niece in any way I would personally torture and kill them myself.

Who would do the raping each day and would that make them better than the person in prison for it? Also, wouldn't they become immune to it after a while?

The problem is many times it is not Forever in Jail.

And I doubt it would be brought in for 2 areas only.

I'm sorry but no. What they have done is too big to keep them alive. They don't deserve that, they don't have anything to do on Earth therefore they should be killed.

I think if somebody murders somebody they are throwing away all human rights that they have and they should therefore be killed. In a religious point of view, the Bible says an"Eye for an Eye" etc. As for rape, its just as bad. Yes, they never actually took a life, however that victim has to live with it which is just as bad.

A mental person who murders is different, if sane, that person would most likely realise that it is wrong.

BTW, I forgot to take into account self defence.. obviously under those circumstances a death penalty might not be given.

Can I also say I agree with Fom, jail sentences should be much longer now. Also, Prisons need to get their act together, its now like a holiday camp, the people in jail get Sky TV, newspapers. They shouldn't!

The problem with keeping cold blooded murderers in jail for life (The least they deserve) is it costs money. Our money. The taxes you pay........It saps up finite finances which could otherwise go on to save peoples lives by not having as much drug rationing in our health service......

It seem many put more value on the life of a no good criminal just to satisfy some half baked set of false moralities than they do for the sick that are in need of expensive drugs that cannot be funded because we choose to fund the keeping alive of cold blooded killers that are of no use to man nor beast....
