Hello, and welcome to the fifth live show that TiBB has to offer, this show is called VISUAL IDOL. As most of you well know, earlier this week, we said goodbye to SAM!, in our fourth elimination of the series. Leaving it an all girls final four. Tonight its just the same as the contestants pieces of work will be shown and the members vote to save, and the two or more members with the least amount of votes will be in the, VISUAL IDOL SHOWDOWN and the judges decide who stays and who goes out of the bottom acts. In the event of a tie, the public votes will decide who stays and who goes.

Tonights theme is Seasons. Where each contestant got given a particular season to focus their piece on, and Valentines Day.

” This is a photograph of a palm tree which i took a couple of years ago when i went away to Spain. It always reminds me of summer which is why i picked it as my theme for the pic. I added some effects to the picture and used warm summery colours such as pinks and oranges and have blended them all together :)”

Well Christina. This is a bit plain dont you think? However this is not a bad thing :P Plain, simple but effective.

This really gives off the theme summer well. Maybe there could of been a bit more to it, but i really like it.

Lovely mix of colours used Christina, so simple. I actually do like the consistency in all of your entries, they are all of such a high standard. You should be really pleased, honestly.

The mix of colours which are all 'summery' shades makes the picture look really bright and colourful. As I said, very simple, but effective.

“ For the theme ‘autumn’, I made a blend of all ‘autumny’ pictures, including different animals and scenes, using all various blending effects. I then added leafy-type effects and then shaped the whole graphic into a leaf shape. I turned the graphic sideways, added shadows and a glow for effect :).”

WOW. Nicky, amazing stuff from you. It's like a collage! Great mix of colours, all 'earthy' which really brings alive that Autumn theme.

LOVELY Kat. I really like the whole colour of it, it reminds me of Pushing Daisies, were you have to wear sunglasses to see it properly!

The only thing I'm not sure on is the ribbon, but overall its nice use of Photoshop, nice editing etc. You've tried a lot and I can see that, and I also know you had trouble with this weeks entries, but looking at that, I can see you tried you're best.

HAHA. Hillarious once again Ninastar. It's got a good idea behind it, and then of course theres the other aspect which I have to comment on which is the layout, colours used. You should use less harsh colours.

I think you'd agree you're not the best in this competition..but you've kept us laughing! (In a good way)

Christina, lovely picture. Once again simple but effective. The purple background is much more better than say a black background, which you could of used.

I have to tell everyone you took that picture of the rose yourself aswell, and didn't just get it off Google which would have been easier.

” For the theme ‘Valentines’ day, I used a picture of 2 elephants as the main theme. Random as it may seem, but these are animals that stick and stay together for a long time. I then added lots of different pictures, - like hearts, a calendar, flowers, etc - and effects, like overlays, screening, lightening and darkening. I added a line paper texture over it, made it all a reddy/pink colour, as these are the 2 ‘love colours’ and added a final few touches :).”

Really lovely picture Kat. Nice use of blending, you're obviously learning. The picture itself doesn't seem so clear as it could be, which makes the quality look bad. However, nice idea, lovely use of Photoshop as you're obviously learning.
