Whatever she makes from this she still has to pay Tax on the amount... Will be high! Then there is other costs..

It'd be far more than that.

And her agent, and the taxman - and I'm sure Jack's not doing it for free either.

It's all very suss to me - the proposal on Valentines Day, the planned daily drip of information to the press, the fact that legally speaking you need to 16 days notice for a wedding.

I am sure her and Jack can spend the money on doing something nice with the kids before she passes

So Jack doesn't want to marry her then?

So she's worth the equivalent of about 4 minutes of a Premier League match then.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/feb/18/jade-goody-wedding-deals

That provides £50,000 a year for the next 20 years then, more than enough financial security for her kids - so no excuse to sell any more of her life.

And dying or not, selling the rights to your kids christening is money grabbing at it's worst.

The more money she gives them the better in my opinion. I'm sure she wants to give them all the money she can.

Brekkie you are coming across as incredibly bitter you know for some reason. Also she hasn't said she is selling the rights to the christening, she just hasn't denied it. It doesn't mean it will be happening. But anyway, if I was Jade I'd sell the rights to the christening if it was going to benefit them anyway. I wouldn't have minded even £100,000 for my christening!!

I don't see the problem with selling her life really. Shes done it for the past few years. If you don't want to see the pictures don't read OK. If you don't want to watch the wedding then don't watch it. Its very easy to avoid this but it seems as though some people are choosing to follow it just for the sake of it.

at the end of the day its got nothing to do with you or any one else.Your not in Jades position and you never have been, just because you say you wouldnt do what she is doesnt mean thats the right thing to do.Its her personal choice and she has her kids best interests at heart so what is so wrong with that

I dont blame her she wants to get all she can for her kids. The trouble with a lot of bitter people is, they are jealous of her, and her success but they would'nt admit it.

Most people in this situation are more concerned though with spending quality time with their kids (rather than their publicist) - memories will be worth much more to them than any amount of money ever would. You'd think having cancer would teach you there's more to life than money.

We all know though that if they get the chance to do the Disneyland thing it'll only be if OK! can come along too.

How do you know they still aren't spending a lot of time with her? And how do you know they won't get good memories from this wedding?

Note to Gordon Brown - the whole country has far more important things to be "worried" and "anxious" about.

Believe it or not I'm not her biggest fan (I do like her though)- its not who she is its what shes going through and some of the stick she is getting for it. I can also see things in the bigger picture and see what is interesting the public, not just thinking "oh shes not popular on forums therefore she isn't popular with the public"

I guess the only person who wins from this is newly released at her magesty's pleasure.... - Jack, so congratulations to him for dropping the morals for a suitable payoff.

Unfortunately the kids lose out to appearing in public for a sham wedding.

It was always about money. There was enough earned for the boys BEFORE the cancer. Why not have donated everything made after to Cancer Research?

I would have supported that one.
