View Full Version : Find it weird that Natasha Beddingfield is more popular in the US?

I think she's the 1st British artist who is actually more popular in the US then over here, she's charted on the charts over there with songs we havnt even heard over here.

The only person I can think of is MIA "Paper Planes" last year who didnt even reach the Top 10 here but got in the Top 5 in the US and is still in the charts after a whole year.

Isn't Natasha Bedingfield from New Zealand, not UK?

Edit. Ignore me, lol. But her new stuff is utter shite, she lost her essence and appeal (just like Joss Stone) and became very Americanised.

No there's been loads especially bands back in the 90's that were British and never eve heard of in UK.

She is amazing, I remember a couple of years ago her and Daniel did a duet, possibly the best live song ever. If anyone can find a youtube link I would be very grateful.

Amy McDonald does shocking in our singles charts but does really well in both singles and albums in Europe

she recently spent 9 weeks at #1 on the singles chart in Belgium:shocked:.
