Cheryl Cole reportedly became upset with an interviewer who asked her if Girls Aloud were planning to split.

The singer and X Factor judge is said to have walked away with the rest of the band when asked the question.

Cole responded: "Why are you asking a question like that? We have just won this award voted for by the public. That's ridiculous. You ruined the moment."

Previously, Cole said that winning the Brit for best single with 'The Promise' should dispel any rumours of a break-up.

I think its fair enough. Those journalists can be annoying sometimes! How many times do they need to answer the question?
I dont like Cheryl personally, but I got no problem with them doing that.

It was hardly an interview, just a few random journalists shouting questions at them on the red carpet

Fair enough... I can't ever really envisage Girls Aloud "splitting up" in a catty way, I think they might call it a day in a few years time before they've outstayed their welcome. I don't see why they would split up right now though, they've only released 2 songs off their newest album. If they were to split up soon, it'd be after 3/4 songs off that album I'd have thought, and no doubt a greatest hits would be coming along somewhere down the line.
