Michael Jackson is reportedly planning a 30-date comeback event in London and could secure up to £1.5 million a night to perform.
According to the Daily Mail, the 50-year-old singer has been in secret talks about staging "the greatest comeback in history" at the city's 20,000-seat O2 arena.
Organisers AEGLive are looking at a July start, and believe Jackson fans from across Europe will travel to hear him perform.
A source said: "It will be the greatest comeback in the history of pop and there would be no problem selling out the O2 every night.
"No-one is concerned about his reputation and people don't feel it is a risk. Organisers are confident people will come from all over the world to see him."
Jackson, who is frequently the subject of bankruptcy rumours, is apparently on the verge of securing £1.5 million for every show.
Recent claims that he is in need of a life-saving lung transplant have been refuted by Jackson's representatives.
