Michael Jackson is reportedly planning a 30-date comeback event in London and could secure up to £1.5 million a night to perform.

According to the Daily Mail, the 50-year-old singer has been in secret talks about staging "the greatest comeback in history" at the city's 20,000-seat O2 arena.

Organisers AEGLive are looking at a July start, and believe Jackson fans from across Europe will travel to hear him perform.

A source said: "It will be the greatest comeback in the history of pop and there would be no problem selling out the O2 every night.

"No-one is concerned about his reputation and people don't feel it is a risk. Organisers are confident people will come from all over the world to see him."

Jackson, who is frequently the subject of bankruptcy rumours, is apparently on the verge of securing £1.5 million for every show.

Recent claims that he is in need of a life-saving lung transplant have been refuted by Jackson's representatives.

Britneys comeback was rubbish, she is half of what she used to be. 30 dates at the biggest arena in the UK sounds amazing! I think my friend already has tickets to this.

Well a #1 single and a #1 album less than a year after being hospitalized and one of the biggest public down falls in history disagrees.
