Chasing Lights, The Saturdays debut album, is out now and features all 5 singles; If This Is Love, Up, Issues, Just Can't Get Enough & Work.

The Work Tour has kicked off and is making its way around the UK now! Tickets are still available for a few dates but the majority are sold out! :spin:

Infact, The Saturdays song is the "main one". Like previous years when actual artists release songs for comic relief and then a comedy one is released later.

For example: Mcfly then PeterKay and tony christie
Girls Alous Vs Sugababes then the proclaimers and andy pipkin etc

Hi all, I went to the recording of BBC Sound today! Was amazing!
The Saturdays performed Up and Just Cant Get Enough and had an inerview and took part in a quiz.

For those who have seen Sound before, the guests sit on a sofa with the audience around them. I was RIGHT behind the girls in a purple american apparel hoody so look out for me on Saturday. :thumbs:

I was chatting to the girls all afternoon, met them after the show and had a photo with Mollie and autographs from all the girls too.

Basshunter was also there, he was nice but obviously I wasnt that fussed about him when The Saturdays were there! :laugh:

Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mack (the hosts) were so funny and was having banter with Nick all day. Hes such a joker.

So yeah look out for me on Sound BBC2 Saturday 1.15 :tongue:

I think they will be alot more sucessful with their next album because with Chasing Lights they just came out of know where but with JCGE they will become alot more well known by a wider audience and hopefully they will get some good promotion for the new album, hopefully and XF performance :bigsmile:

I think I prefer The Saturdays to Girls Aloud and Sugababes. Girls Aloud's latest album is poor in my opinion and their just not as good as they've been in the past. Sugababes also have gone downhill with their last album, but hopefully they'll make a huge comeback later on this year. The Saturdays have been really consistent so far, and I love all their songs.

I went into today to buy my copies of Just Cant Get Enough and its EVERYWHERE! :thumbs2:

Album Number 2 Information:

Tracks so far include "Wordshaker" done by the same people who did "Work", "One Shot" done by a new team that they haven't worked with and another new song called "Deeper" which was co-written by the girls.

Album will be out in October as they're taking the place of Girls Aloud this year.

The Saturdays have today announced that 3 of their tour dates are being moved to different dates.

Tues 2nd June 2009 Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (re-scheduled from 8th June)
Mon 6th July 2009 Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (re-scheduled from 6th June)
Tues 7th July 2009 Manchester Apollo (re-scheduled from 19th June)

Also they are now playing Dundee on the 3rd June and Grimsby on the 5th July as part of The Work Tour! Tickets for Dundee are available on ticketmaster now and Grimsby are released on saturday.

-Work is being retouched for the single edit being released on June 29th. The B-Side is called 'Unofficial'. There is a clip of the Cahill remix available on a few places online.

As the Saturdays were walking on stage in Dundee last night, Vanessa tripped and sprained her ankle!! :sad: It then got put immediatly in a cast and she was wheeled onto stage halfway through the concert in a wheelchair!! The other girls didnt notice until they were told in their earpieces and they had to improvise her lines until she was fit to perform.

Vanessa is such a fighter. :lovedup:

People have said she wont be ready to perform with Take That and at the Summertime ball at the weekend!:sad:

The concert last night was incredible. I had tears in my eyes at the end just thinking of the journey they have had since the Girls Aloud tour in May 2008. :lovedup:
