we all watched bits of it in Prague one day when getting ready hahaha, and it looked good.

There is the blonde, ugly woman with HUGE HUGE HUGE tits who flirts with everyone... and thats about all I can remember. They had a dog in it to.

So, has anyone here watched it, and is it any good?

Hmm, Prague isn't really German speaking, but it is a popular language.

And Hugo, I LOVEEE Austria. Did you watch that 'Viva' music channel? Thats what we had in Prague and Salbach, we need it here!

Big Brother is well into it's 9th season in Germany now with 12 housemates left - although my guess is that they will add more later.

They recently brought back three ex-housemates from previous seasons of the show including Sasha from BB5 who won the series after spending a year inside the house!

Over there they use heaven and hell but a much more extreme heaven and hell!

Oh and Sam, I'm guessing you mean Annina? Blonde with massive tits?

Yeh, I don't watch BB Germany but I do try and keep up with the show. She's still in anyway, and the last time she faced eviction she received 59.3% of the vote to stay and 40.7% of the voters wnated her to go, so the majority seem to be saving her. She up for eviciton now along side 7 other housemates.

Based on what I've seen I think Madeleine and beni are the two I most like.

I haven't watched it, but I've heard a bit about it.

What interested me the most is that midway through the current 9th series, the producers decided to give the show a slight revamp, even going as far as removing the housemates from the main house so they could give it a slight revamp! It was then relaunched as Big Brother Reloaded.

I've read that the changes weren't that big or good, but my point is that I'm shocked the German producers would attempt a revamp mid-series when our producers won't even do it during the downtime.

The other thing that shocks me about the German series is the lengths of them - their current series (BB9) began on December 8th last year and it ends on July 6th - that's a total of 211 days!

They've even had two back-to-back year-long series before - it makes our 13-week series look short in comparison

Yeah, their BB6 (Big Brother: The Village, or Big Brother: Das Dorf) was originally meant to run indefinitely, but it was brought to an end after 363 days due to poor ratings.

Nope, all the finalists were late arrivals. Of the 6 finalists the one that stayed the longest had been in the house 274 days and he came second.

The German edition is like an institution in Germany, people love it !
They've been probably one of the most creative these last years like splitting the house in 3 or building a huge village and also running series 5 & 6 for a year each.

People also love housemates like Annina and their behaviour...the German edition has probably seen the most sex scenes in 9 series than all the versions in the world. But yet she won't last long as always.

The thing which is disappointing about BB Germany is that out of 9 series, 5 are battles (Rich, Average and Poor or Poor/Rich and this year Heaven/Hell). I mean, I guess the German public must love that format.

Actually Franziska and Sascha from BB5 (runner-up and winner) stayed for 365 days which is a worldwide record.

:/ never mind BB GER is really weird and confusing (no offence)

Anyway, Annina or reminds me of Leah...... and don't you hate when other countries SO copy UK things, especially how Austarlia done it.

It's a bit weird compared to the UK series because they don't see it the same way as we do: for them, the show is a college playground where everything is allowed.

Also the German producers managed to change the format when needed and it's been a success every time they did which actually show that some changes can be done here so it's all about the producers really.

Annina is not the first 'Leah' kind of woman in Germany, they've had housemates like her before Leah in UK. The producers can show sex or naked showering at 8pm without a problem: it's all good to them and to the public.

Australia hasn't been the biggest copy cat: the Serbian series is like they took the house, the twists, the tasks, the graphics and the tv stage. WTF ?
