For those of you who don't know yet, the Girls are releasing the epic song 'Untouchable' from recent album 'Out Of Control'. It's a totally amazing song, I think it should be #1. It's released April 27th.

YES! I hated The Promise sooo much and The Loving Kind was a good song, but shouldn't of been a released single.
Untouchable is amazing and I love it. Mainly because I think Nicola sings in it the most and she's my fave!!! I ****ing love Nicola.

I like the song but I really hope there is a radio edit.
Sometimes I just cant be bothered to listen to the whole thing when it comes on my itunes.

Ok a member of the official GA forum contacted their management about a radio edit. Heres what they had to say..
Hi ____,
The promotional schedule for ‘Untouchable’ hasn’t yet been decided, but we certainly aim for Girls Aloud to do as many TV performances as possible, keeping in mind their hectic schedule right before the tour.
I know that many of the fans are worried that a radio edit would weaken the song, but I can assure you that we also LOVE the song is perfect in its current form, and will do everything we can to ensure an edit doesn’t lose this magic!

That has to be the worst GA single yet! Hate it.
This song will have to be cut, radio wont play it if it isnt cut. And it will be a big fail.

I dont think it will fail either, they have a huge tour around the same time as the single release so even if they are not getting AS MUCH TV exposure, they are still getting fans to go out and buy it after seeing them live.
I think it will do quite well. Better than The Loving Kind but not as well as The Promise.

m'ok, but fan base or no fan base, radio isn't going to give up 6 mins of their air time for a song. They will get less plays, maybe singles will be bought, but they will get no promo over radio. If girls aloud can make it without radio then good on them!

You have a valid point. But, the song is very radio friendly. Some of the biggest #1's of recent times have been up to 5 mins long. And I'm sure they will cut the song by at least 30 secs for radio.
I can't wait to be hearing remixes of this when I'm out in the town. :blush2: Bring it on! :bigsmile:

The video just premiered on 4Music.
They're in like bubbles each, coming down to earth like meteor's.
It's an ok video. You see more of Nicola and Kim in this video too. Less of Sarah and Cheryl.
It reminded me of the X Factor opening, especially one bit that was a blatant copy (the moon in the way of a star)
The video was a bit plain, the ending and the beginning were ok, but everything in between sucked. Just them posing in bubbles.

I liked the video, Thought it was quite cool, it looked quite expensive for a 3rd single video.
I can't get over how fast the single version starts :sad:.

A video I made of Untouchable live on Dancing On Ice. I added the X Factor intro to the beginning and added the long intro at the start then it cuts into the single version. I have removed all live vocals from the performance. It is all in sync.

I'm still buzzing from last night, only got a few pics but all of them including my old amazing pics are on my Facebook.
Loved thew show. The highlights were 'Love Machine' which had new backing music and a mysterious breakdown piece, it was orgasmic. 'Revolution In The Head' was so dark and fierce, it gave me goosebumps. 'Miss You Bow Wow' was so dancey and enjoyable and...
'Untouchable'!!!!!!! Omg I swear to god I had so bad goosebumps that I thought I was gonna freeze to death. I had to put my cardi back on.
Overall, was not as amazing as the Tangled Up Tour <-- front row baby! But was pretty damn awesome!!!
