WITH Vanessa Feltz losing it and scribbling on the table in the first series and Les Dennis becoming a gibbering wreck in the second, Celebrity Big Brother was compulsive viewing.

Now, finally, after a wait of over two years, the reality show is back – and it’s promising to be just as ‘evil’ as Big Brother 5, which made a star of Nadia Almada last summer.

This time, eight celebrities will be cooped up together and made to live with each others’ egos for nearly two weeks. We’ll get to see all the action every day on C4 and E4, while Davina McCall (right) will host once again.

Executive producer Shirley Jones says the mixture of personalities will be explosive.

“We have selected eight completely different people who are famous for totally different reasons,” says Shirley. “We think they’re a very interesting mix.”

The TVmag won’t spoil the surprise, but among those rumoured to be taking part are Sven Goran Eriksson’s fiery on-off girlfriend Nancy Dell’Olio, former TV presenter David Icke, Playboy babe Victoria Silvstedt, drug-ban footballer Adrian Mutu, EastEnders’ Chris Parker and footballing hellraiser Frank McAvennie – Scotland’s answer to George Best.

“It’s going to be a great deal tougher than previous celebrity versions – and there will be a few surprises,” says Shirley. “The celebs may not all be ready for Big Brother, but Big Brother is definitely ready for them!”
