I think being a policeman would be the most rewarding job because you aren't just helping a few people, you are helping everyone from all walks of life. You are helping everyone with every criminal you catch and every life you save and that could be any person at any time.

IMO being an actor is pretty damn rewarding, you work your ass off for months then it all pays off when you get that feeling of being on stage, eugh I love it, it's like a drug, so addictive. Im kinda biased though.

I think the most rewarding job is doing something you love and getting paid for it.

arista why do you have turn everything into a labour discussion
teachers have always had very little respect for all they do i did a load outside of work hours as a nursery nurse so can only imagine it being even more for teachers naff all to do with labour

Firstly; being a parent. Both mother and father.

Secondly; Princess' job. NURSE. Not a doctor. It's the nurse that does all the gritty work, getting medication, taking people to the toilet, cleaning them, caring for them. A nurse is the one they see all day everyday, and has the power to make them feel better in general about being in hospital, to make them feel cared about and not impersonal and worthless. I genuinely think any nurse that can smile at patients has the most rewarding job.

Finally - surgeons. They have the power to make the decision to change, save, or improve someones life and often they risk their own reputation and effort in order to do so. Sure, it's their job - but sometimes they do something so special it's really worth appreciating.

Also - Midwives, teachers, firemen...

Depends if it's forced or not.

If it's forced, you don't get paid for it and get benefits that amount to enough money not to be able to afford food.
