Just hours now remain until the group of eight celebrities entering the BB house are revealed. DS:BB recaps those rumoured to be in the lineup.

IN: Brigitte Nielsen
The Danish model was one of the first confirmed names for the show. Nielsen has a flamboyant personality and was a producer's dream on US reality show Suureal Life, constantly shedding her clothes and starting fights with the other contestants.

OUT: Victoria Silverstedt
Like Neilsen, Silverstedt was one of the first celebs to join the lineup. The Swedish model decided to pull out earlier this week, however, having landed a presenting job for VH-1 in the States.

REFUSED: Lee Chapman
Leslie Ash's ex-footballer husband turned down a big money offer after having "some doubts" about the potential housemates.

REFUSED: Holly Valance
The Aussie singer-turned-actress also rejected an offer to appear on the show. She is currently in the US filming cameos for several TV shows.

IN: James McKenzie
At 19, the Blazin' Squad singer will be one of BB's youngest ever housemates.

OUT: Frank McAvennie
The former footballer was axed from the lineup at the weekend after apparently breaking one of the show's rules and talking to the media.

IN: Caprice Bourret
The 30-year-old model/actress initially turned down an offer but has since had a change of heart. She is being paid a reported £110,000 for the two-week stint.

UNLIKELY: Chris Parker
EastEnders' Spencer Moon was said to be "considering" joining the lineup after he was axed from the BBC soap last month amid personal problems.

MAYBE: Carole Chaplin
Cherie Blair's lifestyle guru is one of the "real people" rumoured to be in the lineup.

MAYBE: Craig Charles
The Red Dwarf star apparently signed up last month but has since been confirmed for another Channel 4 reality show, The Games, which begins in April.

IN: John McCririck
The motourmouth racing pundit was one of the first celebrities to sign up for the show last year.

OUT: David Icke
The religious fanatic was dropped last week for apparently being "too weird."

IN: Antione De Caunes
The French-born Eurotrash host was subsequently announced as Icke's replacement.

UNLIKELY: Michael Barrymore
The fallen TV presenter apparently expressed an interest in the show to win the public back over.

LIKELY: Myleene Klass
The classically-trained former Hear'Say singer has apparently signed up this week.

LIKELY: Mark Bosnich
The ex-Chelsea goalkeeper has been in the rumoured lineup for some time now.

UNLIKELY: Adrian Mutu
The footballer was apparently "in talks" for the show after being suspended for testing positive to cocaine use.

MAYBE: Peter Tatchell
The gay rights campaigner would be expected to have a Kitten-style impact in the house.

REFUSED: Faria Alam
Sven's ex-lover wanted at least £120,000 to appear on the show.

LIKELY: Mark Berry
According to tabloid reports, Bez from the Happy Mondays has succeeded with his campaign to get on the show.

UNLIKELY: Stephen Fry
The highbrow comedian has been approached with an offer this week.

LIKELY: Sam Fox
The former Page 3 girl turned singer caused a stir on ITV reality show The Club in 2003.

MAYBE: Christopher Biggins
The panto star is one of the names said to be sitting on the substitutes' bench.

REFUSED: Gabrielle Richens
The little-known Debenhams model apparently snubbed an offer to enter the house.

Others mentioned in connection with the show include Radio 1 DJ Lisa I'Anson, Chris Tarrant's wife Ingrid, swimwear model Tania Lamanna, Emmerdale star Julie Peasgood and Boot Sale Challenge's Lorne Spicer.
