Alcohol!!!
In recent years (since BB7) the producers have limited the alcohol in the house. I remember the days in BB3 where the housemate would spend £100 out of a £400 budget on alcohol and in BB5 Big Brother stocked an wine fridge twice a day.
I think the main reason they stopped giving the housemate so much was because of the antics in BB6 (Kinga and Baby Jacuzzi)
I think the viewers just want to see the housemates have fun and partying not sat in a house moaning.
