Thought you said you weren't gay, just camp? When someone said you were gay, you said they were stereotyping camp people. Make your mind up and stop attention seeking.

Well done! Glad you've finally told her, I know when I was speaking to you a few months ago you were worried about how your parents might react.

I think you'll probably find things a lot easier at home now you've told her.

Yeah, I knew you were openly gay, but a little while back, you told someone to stop stereotyping camp people and that you weren't gay. Does nobody else remember this? And anyway, whats the big deal, I just told my mum I was straight. No need to make a thread.

People consider straight to be normal , hense everyone assumes everyone is straight untilll they are told otherwise.

There is a need to make a thread because ive been really worried about their reaction for a few months and now ive finally told her. and im thrilled.

Why are you picking on me, if anyone else would have made a similar threat you wouldnt of jumped down their throats.

Leave me alone and let me have a happy moment for once.

God.

Piss off. You're just being cruel. It's a big step for Conor to come out to his Mum.

Whether she had her suspicions or not I expect she was happy for Conor to come out to her and confirm what she had been thinking.

so?? knowing that his mum is cool with it is a big thing even if she did know its a big thing for people coming out as it were acceptance is very important espically from those close to us such as parents

TheMac

well why are you congratulating him for telling the truth? I would say well done to a four year old for that, not for a grown up and mature teenager.

I'm gonna wait till i move out then tell them. cos then they cant really do nothing about it lol. I know my parents will hate me for it and probably never talk to me again but i suppose thats the way it goes. im sure i'll just have to get by without mum and dad lol.

Your parents unconditional love for you will always come above any awful prejudices they hold. They may take it horribly, and may stop talking to you or whatever - but they'll love you regardless and will "forgive" you (even though forgive is the wrong word) with time.

Good luck anyway, for when you do, whenever that is.
