I support Barnet FC in League Two because they are my local team (I know they are **** but I would rather not be a glory supporter).

Everton I play for chesters fan team i dont support them though I go to the games now and again to be honest it bores me i want to get what i paid for premierleague football is worth the extra bit of money

But i think the term glory supporters can be used unfairly

For example: A Man utd fan who is born in london but still goes to Utd games season after season

i would not call that a glory fan

he is rightfully supporting them and giving money to the club

I think its ok if you live close by and theres no other big team thats close to you but theres this one boy I know who supports Chelsea and its like wtf,he was born here ,his family are all local etc theres also a load of Man U supporters which annoys me because its so obvious they are glory supporters oh and Arsenal too.

I'm no glory hunter but even as a United fan it does really annoy me that random people from allover will support them. Because its meant to be the biggest club in the world the people who don't really care about football and say who they support just say them, its why there are always a load of random Japanese supporters

I don't get people who support teams from nowhere near them, its a bit pointless

would kinda like to again but not til next season since i couldnt get a season ticket near my dad.

And thing is my dad has always supported arsenal &reading so from a young age they are the 2 teams id hear about / watch most. So i just ended up liking them to.

I remember when some kid was talking to us he was probbaly about 11/12 and we asked who did he support and he said I support Man utd now and we said " why now who did you support? " And He said Chelsea it was so obvious why

he obviously supports who is winning the league :joker:

LOL that just kind of defies the point of football

atm United are at the top of the Premiership (:cheer2:) but with Liverpool not far behind, so if that person switched from United to Liverpool if they took over, then that would just basically show how much of a fan they are :joker:

I don't support them because they win all the time, I support them because I just like them and Man Utd has always been my club since I was about 2. I go to the matches as regularly as I can and I will support the club when doing well or doing badly like a few years ago.

I hate people who say "Support your local team." Why? Does it matter on the clubs location as long as you fully support the club of your choice through the good times and the bad. Clubs aren't like countries, you don't have to support your local one

I supported Everton until I was about 5, not because I wanted to, but because my dad is an Everton fan so I didn't really have a choice. But when I started watching football I supported Liverpool, I don't know why, I just liked them better.

I don't go to the matches as much as I'd like to though, mainly because I don't usually have the money for a ticket, and when I do they're sold out :sad:. I'm going to start ordering them online soon though.

I support Sunderland AFC first and foremost. Been born here, lived here 18 years of my life (now in Lancaster for Uni, but that doesn't count as moving away LOL). I'd rather watch bad football from Sunderland whom I support, than watch World Class football from a team I don't have my heart in. I'd support Sunderland if they were in lower leagues, til the day I die. I've been to about 50 matches, mainly cos I was under 18 for them all so had to wait til others got tickets first, which was hard considering my dad is a ... Newcastle supporter *cry*

I also support The Rangers FC. I've always been interested in SPL and followed it more than EPL (bar Sunderland, never missed being at a match/seeing a match/knowing the score instantly). Then when I met my bf ~2 years ago he took me to Ibrox a few times and we'd watch them play every week - so now I have a vested interest in them too. I wouldn't call myself a supporter yet, but I support them. Been to 4-5 games.

Well its up to you where your team is from but if you go to matches and things then you aren't a glory supporter because you aren't just supporting them because they're one of the best teams
